Doesn't look too bad here.

A lot of people have been saying that we need a franchise player from the year we tanked. Might as well swing for the fence here and pick up Exum.

Exhibition game. And only not to bad? He should be crushing that show to be considered top 5 pick. Shroeder did great in that game... let me see where he was drafted and how much of an impact he had so far in Atlanta?

Wasn't he taken outside the lottery in a ****ty draft?

Wiggins, and Parker played in it too right? These players played hard, unlike other exhibition games. I liked the move at 1:15, it should his first step and that he has finishing potential.

What I find amusing that folks are pointing at Gordon's FT as huge negative but ignoring 60% FT by **** in FIBA U19. And Gordon shot better 3pt % in NCAA than **** in FIBA U19 BTW.

This is interesting to consider as well:

Honestly I like both players. I would hate for this to be the situation where we pass up a legitimate star because we have Burkes and need a 3. At the same time, with both players you are taking a swing at the fences here.

If we go after Exum, then I think we have to package Burke and 23 to try and move up to 8 if Gordon is still there. Otherwise I guess we run with Burke/Exum point and let them battle it out.

The Arizona homer in me likes Gordon. But honestly it seems like we are going to get a really good player at 5, and that's what really matters.

By the way... he was the 6th man on Team USA, not a starter.

Another interesting video, Wiggins versus Gordon in High School.

I also like this video... its good for folks that think Gordon is a 4 because that's what he played at 'Zona.

I really like Aaron Gordon but Exum is better choice

Why? All I see you **** fans saying he is better choice but I do not see any detailed reasoning behind it? Please give me reasons which would make me even consider him? All I see so far is long, skinny PG with average handling and athleticism and no outside shot. meh....
So at the end of the day you are all giving up on Burke for ****??? my oh my....

In today's NBA, we need multiple players who can beat his man and collapse defenses. Burke has not shown, in the slightest, the ability to do that in the nba game. Exum however, has a near elite first step, and a 6'9'' wingspan. One of his main strengths is beating his man off the bounce. I feel, with his wingspan and size for the PG position, the defensive potential is nearly as influential as gordon's would be, seeing as exum would likely be guarding the guy will the ball 70% of the time (the pg). I'm no GM, but exum appears to have a very high ceiling, in a league dominated by PG play. I would love to have him.

Exum is like a cross between Shaun Livingston and Leandro Barbosa. He just needs the floor spaced out a bit and he's going to have an impact.

Aaron Gordon is supposed to be this great defensive player, but he averaged 1 block and .9 steals. It's not like he's Nerlens Noel or something. I'm not convinced he's going to be as good as AK.

Everyone should be voting exum simply so we can watch akmvp explode

Upside Comparison:

Smart = Dwayne Wade

Exum = Penny Hardaway

If you think believe Smart can develop into a decent shooter, you take him. Exum seems like more of a risk just due to having less game tape. That said, Exum would fit well next to Burke if we go that route.

I just looked back at U19 world championship in 2013 where Gordon was MVP of the tournament. **** was ball hogging, bad decision making, poor shooting leader of Australian team. And he crumbled like cookie during semis and as well during bronze medal game. You guys bash Gordon for shooting guess what - **** shot 10-4 FT, 7-19 FG in semis and 6-13 FT and 2-10 3-pts FG in bronze medal game. So whatever points he scored was with terrible efficiency and did not help his team to win either.
How about head to head matchup vs USA? Look at that only 11 min because I guess he needed to stop being embarrassed by physically superior Americans. 7 pts, 2 reb, 0 assists and 4 TO. And you guys drooling all over it? Gordon in 19 min had 15 pts, 4reb, 1ast, 3stl, 1 blk and guess what he shot 3/3 FT....

All I can say - **** ****
