In today's NBA, we need multiple players who can beat his man and collapse defenses. Burke has not shown, in the slightest, the ability to do that in the nba game. Exum however, has a near elite first step, and a 6'9'' wingspan. One of his main strengths is beating his man off the bounce. I feel, with his wingspan and size for the PG position, the defensive potential is nearly as influential as gordon's would be, seeing as exum would likely be guarding the guy will the ball 70% of the time (the pg). I'm no GM, but exum appears to have a very high ceiling, in a league dominated by PG play. I would love to have him.
