Thus far nice to see post history for member's lines up with the voting. At least you guys stick to your guns. Still early but looks like most are towards the extremes while losing flexibility (cap space for those voting for 6th spot, and more high quality pieces to play with for those voting Wiggins). Still several that I'm interested in seeing how they vote ... waiting for the Monday "return to screen" vote to see where this all plays out.
 
I want us to have one of the most embarrassing and worst seasons of all time to get a 25% shot at getting Wiggins!

The poll doesn't say anything about having the highest odds of landing Wiggins, it simply says we get Wiggins. So yeah, getting Wiggins (and thus become contenders for the rest of, well, forever) is the best thing that could possibly happen.
 
I didn't read your caveats before I voted. Having read them now, I wish I picked option 2 instead of option 3. I'd rather the core excel, and the vet bench struggle mightily (which is what I presumed you were proposing), than have the core struggle just so we can land a "better" pick. I want to have my cake and eat it too, or else it'll spoil.

Let's have the core 5 take us to the playoffs as a cinderella story for the ages, then let GS tank it and get us the #3 pick so we can trade into position to get Wiggins.

I hope we make the playoffs. Play Conference Finals which is reached through a road that we have nearly swept the Spurs -a thing that will happen a year later. Gain some confidence to save for the the long ride. Add some more young talent afterwards. Hang in there. Then another year. Hang in there. Then buy Wiggins who is now an experienced, desiring-for-contending and dominating basketball hero and he will run ****less to our arms from his rook-time team Magic. That will be the time that Stockton & Malone have already taken their place in the coaching unit.
 
i hope jabari parker struggles at duke and falls to 20th pick, dat means we can select him cuz we make the playofs
