I doubt he wants to risk another injury for a low salary. He would probably rather rehab and wait for another NBA job.
I don't think another one will come without him proving his current health/ability somewhere else first.
disagree with this. AK played in Russia because of the lockout, not a lack of interest. Once the lockout ended, he was having a good time playing with his team in Russia, so he stayed. There was never a lack of interest. He didn't need to prove anything in Russia.

He wanted 3 million euros per year which is about $4M. With the taxing advantages of Europe it means like $7M of an NBA contract. I like Memo but I hope he doesn't believe that he can get such a contract anywhere in the world. Even a $1M per year is a big risk for a team to give him considering his age and injury history/status.
BTW, another news from Turkey: Karl Malone's daughter Cheryl Ford will play in Turkey for a team that got to the first division this season. Interesting, because I've never heard of that team. I've never heard of Cheryl Ford either though.
