Popovich praises the Jazz

Starting to think that Kanter move was addition by subtraction. Still wish they got more, but two games in looks like a new team.

Pops is a putz. Bad enough for a nobody to mock, criticize and try to humiliate people. Far, far worse for someone who has achieved some measure of success in his area of expertise to degrade people who ask him about his expertise.

He disrespects the game when he behaves so rudely, and lessens his own legacy. Sad.

Snyder gameplans are way better than Corbin gameplans. They even vary from team to team - a concept that seemed foreign to Corbin.

Ive been pretty vocal about my frustration with the trade but our current play is making me eat crow and I like it!

If you can even call giving the ball to Big Al down low every possession down the floor a game plan...

Meanwhile, Ginobili says that the Spurs just played bad in all aspects. I think he really meant to say outplayed in all aspects. Jazz coulda easily won by 20.

My brother in law (blazers fan) said the same thing. "Blazers were off" after they got killed by the Jazz.

Good to hear the praise from Pop. I remember the last time he made a comment like this, the year before we got Deron he praised our team saying we were a good PG away from being competitive again. This team feels the same way where if we just got a little help from somewhere else (or develop within - Exum) we can take off.

Lol by all accounts Pop is awesome and answers questions thoughtfully off camera. This was hilarious though

David Locke: Have you come back to playing with two bigs more often than maybe you were at this point a year ago? Is that evolving, or is that just happening?

Pop: I remember you. You always try to ask basketball questions, and you have no clue what you’re talking about. But you always try to find a trend or something. I have no idea. Sometimes we play two bigs, sometimes we play small. It depends who we’re playing. But there’s no intent to go in one direction or the other. Is that OK?
