I thought it was some fine writing, I suppose everyone is a critic. The Knicks will not be trading Porziņģis and the only player with trade value for them would be Rudy, which would be a terrible deal for the Jazz.
 
Dennis OLindsey tried. But the Knicks wanted too much and he wouldn't give up Trey Burks.

Harden? Kanter? Not every situation is the same but the point is that top 5 picks (or top 5 talent) on rookie contracts with bird rights get traded. It's not very often but happens.

In regards to KP, I don't think they are gonna trade him. It's NY and things get overblown by media. I'm sure they want to build their team around him now that is clear Melo is leaving

As I said, not every situation is the same. Different reasons, same outcome. My point was that, although unlikely, top talent gets traded in rookie contracts for several reasons: lack of minutes, bad fit, luxury tax, bad relationship with coach/management, you name it...

I think we both believe they are not trading KP. Things get always overblown by media in NY

For what it's worth, Phil Jackson fell short of saying Porzingis is untouchable when he was asked. Start contrast to a year or so ago when he said both Melo and Porzingis were untouchables.
 
It's not likely at all, but Porzingis is the ideal guy to put with Gobert. If the Jazz had a little bit better pick to offer it would be more interesting.
 
Wouldn't you? The Knicks are an abomination of a franchise. Dolan is a hack and Jackson is a horrific GM. AND they have melo. Oof. Porzy sees the writing on the wall.
 
I know the thread suggests the Jazz could get the most important player to the Knicks franchise because he didn't go to locker room clean out but... no. They're not trading him, ever. He's literally the only thing they have going for them. thread should be in general sports imo.

Fair suck of the sausage! I see I've been labouring under the assumption that my sarcasm was only lost on those poor suffering Americans, afflicted by a withering public education system and the crippling confines of mass culture. What will be next? People no longer understanding irony? Will we only be left with puns?
 
Draymond is over rated, he rides Curry's wave of stardom and only stood out when he started acting like a tough guy pushing, shoving and kicking his way to OROY.
