Possiable pg solution

A friend brought this up but can Eric maynor be a starting pg in the nba. With all players okc has they are going to have a hard time re-signing everyone. I think an offer of a draft pick or even say miles might get him trade back to Utah. I think I would rather see a maynor watson combo then Harris at all. Then trade Harris to LAL for draft picks.

Do you think maybe next summer we could do a sign-and-trade consisting of Harris for Williams?

I think everyone who hates Harris on the basis of his performance in a new offense on the donkey team we had at the end of last season should give him a little time. I have no illusions that he's going to be a top 5 PG. But you can do a lot worse than Devin Harris as your point. Not a little worse. A lot worse.

I hope you're right.....we'll see.

Interesting this thread was suppose to be about maynor and it has turned into a Harris argument. Personally I would like to see what maynor could do with more playing time.

We need to draft the best PG available in the draft. Let him groom under Harris for next year.

Kendall Marshall may be the only PG that is worthy of a 1st round pick next year. Kabongo and Teague both look to be staying in school for another year if they continue their underwhelming freshman years. We may just have to rough it out with Harris for the foreseeable future.

So you are willing to trade a solid starting PG just to see what a middling back-up PG can do with 30 mpg?

How can this not sound crazy to you?

I've watch Maynor and he is definitely a backup guy. I think the Jazz are stuck with Harris until his contract expires.
