Post draft letdown

Anybody else suffering a post-draft letdown? It was fun and interesting in the time leading up to the draft. Lots to talk about, good banter back and forth, excitement, suspense, etc. And now? Looking toward a lockout and possibly a long time before NBA basketball comes back. I'm kind of bummed. :(

I'm not there yet, but come Sept. I well be chomping at the bit to get basketball going again. And if there is and extended lock out I well really be missing this last month were there was so much to talk about

it really hit me when i remembered i wouldnt be able to watch the prospects at summer league

This is going to suck. Especially the part of being forced to get my life back together.

When does the Turkish national team start playing.

I'm stuck in a hospital for the next 10 days so I have no choice to be on this board for an unreasonable amount of time.

We'll only have to wait another year and a half to see basketball again so no worries!

I read first two posts in this thread and then stopped. I'm not gonna be dragged down. I'm still riding a euphoric high and am gonna try to ride this wave for weeks, maybe months.

I'm still excited - EK is a grab bag we have yet to open - it could be filled with pipe cleaners, farts or pure gold. Not knowing will get us through the off-season. Burks was our 12th pick, so that's not as exciting, but if he learns how to shoot, he should be fun to watch. So the IFs are fun. KOC definitely took more risk due to the unknown. Maybe some space aliens recently beamed him up and taught him how to plant corn/draft players?

I hate BYU, but this could have been the most exciting summer league ever for Jazz fans. Look at this starting lineup:

PG - Jackson Emery
SG - Alec Burks
SF - Gordon Hayward
PF - Favors
C - Kanter

I would have loved to watch that team play together.
