Well, we know Ainge is going to take the best offer for an expiring player he doesn't want to pay money to the next season. So given that we've landed with the 32nd-ish pick, we can assume that Boston didn't offer anything higher, if the entire thing wasn't a smoke screen to begin with.

That means that Boston likely offered their second that is protected from 30-54, or their Dallas Mavs second round pick. I'll take a Bullets' pick over a Mavs' pick in 2024 any day.

He's playable already... as like a 12-15 minute a night type of guy. He is what he is though... he is salary filler in the deal.
