The fact that he hardly gets over 30 minutes in any given game should greatly reduce chance of injury.

Nonsense. Sabonis was from Lithuania, travel is called way more in strict in Europe, so he learned from young age not to do that. Where is this coming from? Are you sure you not talking about Olajuwon?
