Prepare for the Worst Part 2

Thriller started a thread last year about preparing for the worst on draft night

I dunno guys, but I'm just getting the vibe that this draft is going to be very anti-climatic for us.... Look for no additional picks in the first round... Expect us to stand pat @ the #9 to pick up Aldrich, Babbit, or Henry.

Anyone else getting this sinking feeling?

Followed by this Gem on draft night:

Told you to prepare for the worst... I didn't think Hayward would be the worst. This is by far worse than what my idea was the worst.

Just wondering what everyones worst case scenario for the 2011 draft would be.....


For me Jan Vesey #3 and Hamilton #12 would leave me with the same hollow & lost feeling that I initially felt with the Hayward pick.

Taking Knight @ 3 would kind of give me that underwhelmed feeling. I have little doubt he won't be good or maybe even great, but I don't see home run potential which I think Kanter/Irving/Williams bring.

We would need to trade up to 2 to get Jimmer(the GS pick and our own unprotected pick should get it). Jimmer at 2 and Emery at 3....... Blech
