I'm laughing at the people who haven't even seen Jonas play a NBA season yet and make stupid comments.

Spycam1 is correct in my opinion. I think Favors is not ready to be a post move player. He has none. He needs to be more of a pick and roll player. The Jazz hardly ever run plays for him. Its annoying to watch.

He needs to improve is outside shot. Make it a threat to just guard.
He loses the ball a lot. Not very strong hands so far and he isn't finishing like he should.
His footwork is what is holding him back from getting position to score down low. Once he gets proper footwork he will become an all-star until than he is just an athletic defender who can score every once in awhile. I am honestly not excited about him anymore. This is his 3rd season and he still hasn't improved his footwork. What has he been working on all these years????????

If that is the case then there were ALOT of people who thought that.
I remember leonard being projected at like 5 or 6 before the draft.
I had burks, then leonard, then singleton for our 12th pick.

I think a lot of people just didn't want Kanter (myself included) and said they would rather have so and so at 3.

Not that they thought that player was #3 worthy, just wanted more than Kanter.

You mean kind of like everyone does every year with rookies?
Kind of like you did last year with kanter? Weren't you the one always saying jonas is better than kanter before you had even seen either one of them play an nba game.....

There is a difference because you are taking to unknowns (especially with two European players) and speculating about their future when you do the pre-draft comparisons. All there is to evaluate off of is pure opinion and speculation.

So what were you basing your opinions of Kanter on, pre-draft?

So someone speculated at how good or bad jonas will be after seeing him in only 2 pre-season nba games and you laugh at them and call thier comments stupid.
Yet you posted hundreds of times in a draft thread hundreds of pages long that was created for speculating about how good or bad guys will be who hadn't even played a single pre-season game.
And even speculated on how good some high school players would be who we have never seen play (shabazz, jabari)

Alot of us have seen jonas play alot of times. I know i have seen him play about 10 times which is as much as i see most college players play outside of byu guys

Exactly, we had 2 unknowns, so I was basing off of things I had read and (limited) things I had see on both players. I wish they had both come into the league the same year, because it would be fun to compare them, but right now Kanter has a year head start, and it will probably take Jonas year to adjust, just like it took Kanter.

But your comment that people speculating on jonas this early being stupid comments is hardly fair.
We all judge people way too early.
