What's new

Preseason Game #2: OKC at UTAH

Your point is valid and you're being nice about it. Much classier than I am.

Only being "classy" because i know how stupid alot of my speculation have been.

Haywards draft year i wanted hasaan whiteside, then greg monroe, henry, babbit, george, and aldrich all before hayward. (and probably some others i have forgotten.)
Imagine if we would have done what i wanted and drafted whiteside or aldrich or something instead of hayward.
Im wrong way more than im right. (though last year i would have taken burks at #4 overall if i could have, and i still think i will end up being correct on him if he gets to play)

I was wrong about Hayward. I wanted Henry (and others but they were taken earlier).

I am probably too.

In case you're still confused, I am simply saying it's pretty funny that you're calling people out for judging Jonas so early yet you judged Kanter even earlier.
If you're calling yourself stupid, then I'm cool with that .. just pointing out your inconsistencies/agenda?

Watch out bro, I'm very sensitive.

I wasn't say you can't judge one player, I just don't think it's fair to say "Oh, I'm glad we didn't draft Jonas over Kanter" this early like it is to say about Hayward over Aldrich, Aminu, Henry, etc.

I still love you and your scouting skillz are off the charts!!!

I think this is what were doing here...

Haywards draft year, my big board was George, Aldrich, Babbitt, Henry when our pick came up. I was so distraught when we picked Hayward I turned off the draft lol.

Kanter draft, I wanted Derrick Williams to fall to us soooo bad. Was way bummed when Minny took him, but after that I wanted Kanter.

Now you guys know.

^^^ I wanted williams to fall to us also, and had kanter 3rd as well.

There is a difference because you are taking to unknowns (especially with two European players) and speculating about their future when you do the pre-draft comparisons. All there is to evaluate off of is pure opinion and speculation.

Yeah. I hate how you're required by law to have an opinion on everything.

Thanks a lot Obama!

****, dude, we think alike. In 2010, I wanted Ed Davis or Xavier Henry, and was PISSED when the Jazz picked Hayward. Almost took up praying for Derrick Williams to slip to 3 in 2011.

The difference between us being that I thought Davis was the suck. I remember billyshelby's Ed Davis love was off the charts.

You're not alone, fish. Hayward was not on my radar at all. Monroe was my choice had he slid, and I was also high on George and Henry. I thought the Jazz could trade down and pick up Whiteside as an intriguing prospect. I didn't like Aldrich. I saw him just getting shot after shot blocked from behind with that funky way he brought the ball behind his head.
