If Dennis is filled with holy spirits he can convince them. Do you think Jabari is filled with it too?
The short answer is No.

2013 Wins: Orlando 20; Charlotte 21; Cleveland 24; Phoenix 25; New Orleans 27; Sacramento 28; Washington and Detroit 29. So 30 wins would put Utah at #8, if the record of the worst teams are about the same as last season. There will be growing pains. An incredibly weak bench, an injury or two...and the Jazz could finish with a record comparable to 2004-05 (26-56) and wind up with a top-5 pick. It will be a weird season, for sure. I'll be cheering for the core players to do well, but the bench to give up leads and the Jazz to end up losing each game.
First the amateur tank - Lose games get high draft pick.
Lots of teams do it. Some, seemingly, every year.
The Pro Tank - (Marketing/Merchandising/$$$$$$$)
We get these C4 prepared this year with about 30 minutes per game. Enough for experience but not too much for injury. They're spelled by has-been vets that suck (we got this!).
We draft Jabari Parker. A highly skilled SF/PF that is better than anyone on our team right now .. maybe even Kanter. AND he's LDS .. lots of great feel-good stories for the state as well as ESPN etc..
We, beforehand, do some trade with SAC that nets Jimmer.
Winnin Chips.
How much time do you think Parker could potentially play at the PF spot in the NBA?
A good deal. Good size and going to be strong enough. Obviously it's a matchup thing.. but he will be a nightmare for some as he's a 6'9 guy that runs all over the court like JJ Reddick.
We could roll out some interesting lineups with him, then.
Burks: 1/2
Hayward: 2/3
Parker: 3/4
Favors: 4/5
Kanter: 4/5
That's some versatility with lineups right there. That's a team that could play HUGE ball, or small ball; a team that could adapt to any style of play.

Um, yeah. Replace Burks with a legit PG and it's all over. Sweep, sweep, sweep, sweep, banner.
All but one team (Kings) are in the East conference thus sharing wins building up ther W column while we will be struggling in the stronger West. That basically gives them 8 wins automatically to each and only 4 to us (splitting with Kings who always hard to beat for us for some reason and the Suns who will suck). That's 4 W's difference right away in Jazz favor.2. Charlotte, Orlando, Cavs, Wizards, Kings. These guys are a lock for bottom 5. You have to suck wayyyyyy worse than them to even crack to the bottom 5.

Hopefully by then, corbin will be able to see and take advantage of mismatch opportunities when they arise....... I have my doubts

With that lineup, I don't think even Ty can screw it up.
Jody Genessy @DJJazzyJody Jazz CEO Greg Miller spent 2-1/2 hours w/ media detailing his job, giving insight into LHM companies' growth and talking about his NBA team.
Jazz are going to drop a bomb on draft day. The clues are building that the Jazz are going to do something unpredictable and probably unpopular with the fans.
Lets rehash:
- In February Jazz are on the cusp of the playoffs and make no moves. Only rumors involve expiring Milsap, Big Al and Alec Burks.
- In April Lindsey says he doesn't like the term 'Core 4' hints that not all 4 are in the definite long term plans.
- Locker clean out day Watson says he knows there are players who on the Jazz roster who will leave to go on to do amazing things. (Only players he could be refering to are Core 4, Milsap & Jeremy Evans.)
- In May rumors of KOC being replaced by DOL are unconfirmed by the Jazz. Still KOC sold his house in SLC and has missed about half his weekly radio interviews since.
- In June prodigal son Karl Malone is surprisingly and awkwardly brought 'bask into the fold' with no clear work arrangement in an impromtu feel good radio interview that not only brought out Karl but it also brought out Greg & Steve Miller and a bunch of apologies.
- In mid June stories start to Circulate that the Jazz brain trust has made some decsions. It is reported that Lindsey said, "if this doesn't work then I should take the fall." To which Gail replies, "No, we make this decision together, we will all take the fall."
- Also mid June Ty Corbin was reported to have said, "I know the Jazz plan is not the best for me, but it is best for the organization"
- Last week Jerry Sloan was officially brought back into the Jazz organization in an arrangement that was only slightly more defined as Karls.
- After a years long trend of silence and limited media availability today, the CEO of the Jazz had a 2.5 hour sit down meeting with the media. He answered all kinds of Jazz questions including finally telling his side of the Jerry Sloan-Deron Williams drama.
Jazz are trying to build up some good will, and quick. The Miller interview, Sloan's hiring, and Malone announcement could have all been done after the draft in the dog days of summer when there is little Jazz news to report. Instead they are all done in a short time more or less corresponding with the super strategy meeting.
Big changes are coming, coming soon, and the Jazz are expecting that many of us won't like them.
Wouldn't it be funny if the "big change" is the announcement that the hugely "popular" Millsap and Big Al are not going to return.Jazz are going to drop a bomb on draft day. The clues are building that the Jazz are going to do something unpredictable and probably unpopular with the fans.

I hope you are right. Casual fans just look at box scores and wonder how the Jazz can let their top two offensive players go when they averaged 18/9 and 15/7.The change is they are doing what smart fans know they should. Strip the team to its core and build around them. Casual fans will be like OMG jazz sux so bad!! Whyd we Let Millsap go?!
