i must have poured over 150 hours into each game. i prefer demon souls, probably because it was the first and it was just so refreshing.

I guess that's like 5 of us then. 150 in Demon's and 120 in Dark Souls and counting, although I'm on a week hiatus while I play the Sleeping Dogs game that I got for free (playstation plus FTW).

**** the xbone. I'm also on the PS4 bandwagon at this point as well. I'm going to be honest, though, and say that I won't get it until at least two years after release because that's just what smart people do (and I'm smart too DAMN IT).

besides, I've got an endless backlog of ps3 stuff to play through, why rush?

I've always owned xbox's and never owned a PS 2/3, but Microsoft (so far) is doing everything they can to drive me to the PS4.

BTW, found an interesting link about total console sales to date:

https://www.vgchartz.com/analysis/platform_totals/Hardware/Global/

...and total game sales for those consoles:

PS2 is still king. Probably always will be, at least when you take game sales into account.

But as you can see, 360 sold about two-thirds again as many units as the PS3 in the US this gen, but worldwide it was basically a dead heat. It'll be interesting to see what happens now. On the one hand I can see a lot of 360 users buying the Xbox One just because it's the next console from Microsoft, but as Nate505 is saying, they seem to be losing some folks. This could well end up being a slaughter for the PS4.

They'll be losing even more; reports are coming out that amazon germany has the XO listed at 399 euros ($770.) Who the hell would pay nearly 800 for a console who has worse memory and cpu than its competitor? Especially when they could buy a pc for that does everything that does? But for less......

I always wait for the price drop. Did it with the Xbox 1st time around and will this time as well with the PS4. Mostly because i'm cheap. :)
