This. It's revisionist history. At the time, and evidenced by them bouncing around, they did not have it together and were not producing/performing. Full stop. AF. No one questioned the moves at the time.

Not to mention Hood was also dumped by Cleveland and Kanter by OKC and the Knicks.

It’s not like either just exploded immediately upon leaving Utah.

They didn't shoot like they usually do because the refs threw them off their game.
They had one in which half they didn't get hosed , and that was enough for them to win the whole game.
If they only got hosed in half the halves in the series, instead of 90% of the halves, they could have beat the cheating Rockets.
