What a messed up franchise! Look who they lost and who they kept. Can you imagine Harden and KD together with Ibaka? And they keep the biggest head case of the group? Then they hired two horrible coaches to go with them.

i feel bad for that fan base. By all rights they should have been to a few finals by now and likely have a ring or two. Now they are headed for years of turmoil and failure.

That's really sad, TBH.

Maybe it was just the quotes that JA selected, but practically none of these people recognize the solid team defense Utah plays. A few comment on the most important element, which is Gobert, but aside from that they blame their own guys for not doing what they should be able to do.

There weren't many comments on the Jazz defense as a whole. They put everything on Gobert. That and Jingles getting into their heads.

Perhaps this is because they see themselves as individuals, not really as a team. Why would they think about the totality of the Jazz defense when they see the game as being played by all-stars making one-on-one moves? I think they are legitimately confused as to how lesser talent working together can beat their obviously superior talent showing individual greatness. (For the record, I reject their belief of lesser talent, but it seems to be a widespread assumption among the Thunder crowd)
