76ers- It makes no difference what Melo did before this season. Right now Ingles is a better NBA player than Melo. Obviously he doesn't, and never will have the legacy Melo does but Melo just really sucks right now.

Celtics- DONOVAN UNCHAINED

Pistons- The more I see of Mitchell the more I think he should be ROTY.

Nets- I've never seen a defense seem so much like day and night when one player is gone.

Jazz W/o Gobert on floor: 109.6 DRTG (101 possessions)
Jazz W/ Gobert on floor: 101.0 DRTG (292 possessions)
I hate numbers: Jazz were elite defensive with him on the court and horrible without.

Thunder average shot distance w/o Gobert on floor - 4.75 feet
Thunder average shot distance w/ Gobert on floor - 8.59 feet
I hate numbers: When Gobert was on the floor, Thunder rarely tried to go into the paint. Every time he was off, they would not stop going in.

Thunder eFG% w/o Gobert: 53.8%
Thunder eFG% w/ Gobert: 49.2%
I hate numbers: Thunder made a lot less shots without Gobert.

Thunder attempted 24.8% of their shots within 3 feet when Gobert was on the floor.
Thunder attempted 42.3% of their shots within 3 feet when Gobert was off the floor.
I hate numbers: Thunder really didn't even try to go inside when Gobert was there.

Bucks- Best center for a modern nba team imo.

Rockets- He checks his closet for Gobert before he falls asleep

Spurs- DPOY don't @ me. This just proves it.

Thunder- 100% right. Gobert will be the unsung hero of this series. He did a lot to (mostly) neutralize Adams and prevented any penetration in the paint.

Spurs- Watching him, it really seems like the game slows down for him. He's so fluid and balanced in how he plays. Bonafide superstar in the making.

Lakers- Melo is living the life, gets paid 28M just to chill and watch Westbrook shoot 40 times per game

Rockets- I've never seen Westbrook and the athletes on OKC get blocked so consistently.. It was amazing to see. Gobert is Westbrook's Kryptonite.

Spurs- Gobert’s finesse and timing is topnotch

Thunder- Gobert is as good as advertised. Just a game changer

Thunder- gobert is a ****ing monster

GSW- He's a literal cheat code. It's unfair his presence in the paint and that wingspan.

GSW- He's an absolute wall inside. If you're struggling to shoot the ball, it's magnified tenfold because he'll just wait for you at the rim.

Will be interesting to see if he can be as impactful against Houston because of the shooting threat and space.

Mavs- Congrats Utah, you found your superstar.

Cavs- I’ll tell you this...I’m not a jazz fan, I don’t care about them (I’m a Cavs fan).

Every ****ing day I hear “omg giannis, porzingus, Ben Simmons are the next superstars they’re gonna change the game forever”

They’re nothing special. They’re just unique but they ain’t super stars. I’d rather have Mitchell than all of them

Blazers- Utah secured the future of their franchise with the 13th pick. Lucky bastards

Rockets- I'm taking Mitchell over Simmons every day of the week.

Pelicans- quin snyder loves two things: his team and cocaine

Thunder- And sleeping with his player's girlfriends.

Spurs- He just went head to head with the reigning MVP and sent him home.
The balls on this kid.

Blazers- How does a rookie play like he has 10+ years of playoff experience?

Thunder- He went god-like on us. Easily the most likeable player on that Utah team

GSW- This guy is clear ROTY and there is nothing anybody can say to change my mind. He's a ****ing beast and I can't wait to see how he progresses in the next few years

Celtics- Refs, Paul George, And Carmelo. Who was worse? Me: Yes

GSW- Yeah I wonder why no one else on the team can get in a rhythm. Could it have anything to do with Westbrook taking 43 shots

Raptors- Refs eating some serious *** all playoffs so far.

Celtics- Russ almost bitch slapping a Mormon dude was poetic.

Heat- Melo been **** on constantly is hilarious. Classic

Blazers- When is this guy’s shoe coming out? I want a pair pronto. He’s a ****ing savage.

Unk- donovan was sheer magic in the third quarter, i was completely spellbound by his play. dude literally couldn't miss a shot and those layups he was hitting were so goddamn difficult.

Cavs- I think Donovan Mitchell might be the next Jordan.

I know that probably seems like an overreaction but let me emphasize the might. It’s just a possibility.

However, when’s the last time we saw a rookie with this kind of scoring ability? It doesn’t happen often.

76ers- First Utah game I’ve sat down and watched, and this kid is the real deal. The opening of the second half was absurd with some of the layups and plays he was making

Celtics- OKC's late game offense was straight up pathetic. Well deserved loss.

Heat- I’ve never been more shocked by a non call

GSW- I don’t get it. It looks like OKC doesn’t even play as a team.

Spurs- Stupidest 2 minute sequence of basketball I've ever seen

No defensive rebounds, no shots made, no foul call, no foul to stop the clock. Just hideous basketball

Thunder- Biggest takeaway from this was Quinn Snyder grabbing his head thinking “Gobert fouled him” then putting his hands down when there’s no foul call.

GSW- it ended with a missed 3 from Paul, then after the buzzer Melo grabbed it and bricked a 3 as the confetti was falling. symbolic

Knicks- yeah but sometimes I watch OKC and i just think "god no one is ever ready for the ball" because they've all been trained to sit back n watch Russell do everything, so once they are asked to do something randomly, they're not ready

Blazers- What a beautiful trade that was. Enes flying out to game 5 was more heart and effort for the Thunder than Melo put out all year.

GSW- How can Melo be the worst player on the court while mostly riding the bench you might ask?

Melo found a way.

Celtics- Utah’s coach looks like he keeps an Altoid tin of amphetamines on him at all times.

Nets- Even after having one of the worst playoff performances of all time, PG still went up to Mitchell and congratulated him instead of running into the locker room. He earned my respect.

I really believe that if the Jazz had room, salary-wise, they'd have a shot at getting PG. I'd take him in a heartbeat -- sure he may have "choked" in the last game, but playing with the king of hero ball has to be difficult. Imagine him playing with Ingles, Ricky, and Donovan, who will be looking for him.

I don't care for PGs attitude and there is NO way he happily plays 2nd fiddle to a 22 year old (Mitchell next year of course) no matter how good Mitchell is. He will seek a big market where he can be the #1 option. LA maybe.

He's not the fit we need. It won't be a big name scorer. They are going to have to find a second tier star that works well with him.

But LA is looking at PG and James. He would still be a second fiddle

Super classy in the post game too... not going to kill that guy anymore.

PG would be fantastic we play with the pass so second third fiddle not that big of a deal. He’d eat... his defense could be so aggressive with Rudy on the middle. If we had him we’d win titles... stop being dumb please.

I think the only dude on OKC that I dislike is Melo. I'd take PG in a heart beat.
I've never liked Melo. I can't stand Westbrook's persona on the court either. I have much of a problem with George, I didn't like his me first attitude last year and don't think he'd even consider coming here.

People talk about how Snyder thought it was a foul. He had the worst angle possible. 2 refs had a perfect view and saw exactly what happened, and had the guts to not blow the whistle. I give the refs a lot of crap for their calls, but love it when they don't reward players for trying to draw the foul rather than just playing basketball

Me neither, I'm always shocked when the refs get it right for a change.
Definitely jumped into him. Shouldn't reward a player on the last play of the game for pulling that ish.
Hmmmmm, did you just described Haynerd to a tee?
Yup, Gordon made a mistake. Still, Celtics will be a killer team next year. I'm not gonna begrudge him - when we play them in the Finals. ;)

And it was clearly a foul. Mitchell was tackled on one of the OKC five offensive rebounds five seconds earlier, and the refs gift-wrapped the game 5 comeback so I'm not feeling too bad about it.

I would rather the win be less controversial and feel like a win instead of an opponent loss, but I'll take it.

And count me in on the PG bandwagon. I think he'd be tremendous here (especially if willing to play some nominal 4). Pretty sure the Jazz would have to do some real cap gymnastics to get their name in the hat, but still.
