Pre Game

Is this the lowest picked and comparatively lowest cost starting lineup in NBA history? Could have been but McLemore probably cost us on the lowest picked part.

Biggest defeat in nba history incoming

isn't this more fun than watching oladipo and tucker starting?

at least we get to see our youngsters

It surprised me how terrible Oladipo is.

This is nuts that we're allowed to play this game right now

Like this game shouldn’t count as a win for Utah, lol

1st Half

Love the energy but damn the jazz are good

FR they look untouchable

it was funny at first but now it’s just pain man.

don't recognize a single one of these players

Do the refs know if they call fouls at this rate there won't be any more Rockets to play?

Ingles form on that shot was awful - swish.

That’s the year Utah is having.

The Jazz can hit open 3s.

Why can’t the Rockets? Most Jazz players are nothing really special.

2nd Half

Joe Ingles sold his soul.

These are some seriously **** shots going in.

If this is Utah’s luck, along with injuries, well, it could be their year. Except for the Durant/Harden/Irving monster lurking in the East.

The Rockets rookies and youngsters are beginning to look exasperated at the officials

Wow.

It’s like they’re fighting for making the worst call possible.

Didn't knew the Jazz are a darling of the NBA, so much fouls not called.

Gobert actually talking trash after scoring 13 points against a gleague team with no center is actually hilarious

And he’s a "max player"

Best loss in a while (quietly sobs).

The highest paid player for the Rockets tonight was McLemore at 2.3 mil. Total payroll For all 9 available players is about 10 mil.

5 Rookies and 4 were undrafted.

Post Game

How I'm going to sleep knowing this teams gonna be elite in 2-3 years

We didn’t get outrebounded, we limited turnovers, had good ball movement, and saw tremendous growth out of KMJ and KPJ. The team fought, which you love to see. The team still has tremendous potential even without Wall or Wood (and literally nine guys out). The team will be fine.

I respect the hustle from our guys, we’ll hopefully be back to normal soon when Christian wood gets back

21-6 offensive rebs advantage for the Rockets tonight?!
Yet the mind-numbingly awful shooting continues to plague them.. they are BY FAR the worst shooting team in the league

We beat the spread!!!

**** you Vegas!

Gobert is one big, gargantuan clumsy giant of a human.

Yep, the Jazz have shooters and the Rockets don’t.

Man Mitchell pushes off on every drive and acts like he’s the one who got fouled.

The Jazz are jerks for making those threes.

I had rockets scoring less than 99.5 tuned out of the game and they somehow scored 7 points in the last 7 minutes ... Wow

Game of the year even though we lost

15 straight, nothing will stop the streak!

Crank the tank!!!

Embrace the tank and as always.. **** THE JAZZ

Must feel like **** to get beat by scrubs, amirite?

I don't get the whining. We won by 14 as a 17.5 favorite. The Suns are down 20 in the 4th against the Pacers. They were 14 point favorites.

Any win without injuries is a damn good win.
That final margin doesn't tell the whole story though.
The game was much closer than the final score would indicate. And the jazz used exactly zero of their benchwarmers while the rockets used only benchwarmers. It was a win which is good. But it wasn't a good win. The fact that we didn't cover the spread means we did worse than expected. And again, it was a closer game than the final score would indicate.

Rockets have lost like 15 games in a row and the roster that the jazz faced was the worst roster that they have put out there during their 15 game losing streak. And they were on the 2nd night of a back to back. The jazz were coming off like 10 days of rest. And the jazz were at home.

Here are some of the rockets recent losses:
Lost to the kings the night before the jazz game 125-105
Lost to the nets 132-114
Lost at home to the grizzlies 133-84 (lol)
Lost to the bulls 120-100
Lost to the Knicks 121-99
Lost to the pelicans 130-101
Lost to the hornets 119-94
Additionally they had 4 other double digit losses in their losing streak.

And again, the roster they put out against the jazz was probably their worst roster of all and it was a back to back for them on the road. Rockets were down by 6 points with 4 minutes to go.
All 5 starters on the jazz played over 30 minutes.

Can't put lipstick on that pig of a win
