Here's your analysis: The Utah team has several professional basketball players who would like to make the playoffs this year. The Arizona team is starting guys not yet old enough to drink legally, and is mainly interested in making sure we have healthy guys in the 6-15 roster spots so we can shut down the best players for the second half of the season without getting fined by the league for forfeiting games. The Utah team will win if the starters play a lot. It’s up for grabs if the 6-15 players on both teams play most of the second half.
Okay, I'll be honest, I am about 75% aroused watching Rubio out there.

An all-too-familiar sight: The Suns giving up multiple offensive boards and put-backs. Jazz can just reach over our heads for every ball.
This Jazz feed is annoying. Two players injured, but did you know about the Jazz app?!?!

Rodney Hood is better than I had remembered.

It's insane watching the Jazz offense with a good coach, compared to our offense. I always forget what good plays and good screens look like until I watch our opponents. It's maddening.

Why do we always look like a YMCA team going against a well practiced pro team? Watson must be preaching and doing too many yoga classes instead of working on basketball.’
The Jazz attempted 14 more field goals and 14 more free throws than the Suns in the 1st half. It's a miracle that we are only down by 16 points. Yup. We actually shot better from the field and from 3 than they did. But got crushed on the boards 29-19.

Watching the crowd at a Jazz game during breaks is like Where's Waldo for people of color.

.@Suns Injury Update: T.J. Warren will not return and is in concussion protocol. He received five stitches for laceration on back of head

Our offence has zero passing, zero ball movement and zero sacrifice. Look at this Jazz team literally passing their way to the hoop – it can be done!!!! Our strategy is basically one pass on the perimeter and then one-on-one.

**** everything we do is a foul and then Gobert gets away with goaltend. no wonder Book got a T

"We wanted to see the Jazz against NBA competition, we can argue if the Suns are that" Why do Utah announcers act like they are so entitled every year. Thought Hayward leaving would shut them up.

How is Devin supposed to be a star when he lets a guy like Joe f***ing Ingles get in his head and shut him down?!

Now the Jazz announcers are hating on Booker. Not surprised They hate us cause they ****

Bolomboy killing us. Looks like a poor man’s Greek Freak.

Leading scorers Alex Len and Tony Daniels. Who'd have thought.

Probably why Gordon Hayward left. Anyone would get sick of all the dabbing in the crowd.

We suck so bad that we didnt even get a Team Sponsor this season. Thats pretty bad.

I hope I never hate someone as much as the Jazz announcers hated Ulis tonight

But unfortunately reoccurring flaws still seem to be there no matter what group is on the court. I mean heaven forbid if anyone on this team made the extra pass. They do just the opposite. Josh might already easily be the best passer on the team. Too much standing around and "seeing what happens next." Devin can’t just ask for screens and play iso ball and Daniel jack up three’s throughout the regular system. Watson just doesn’t have an offense installed and that’s pretty evident. And the defense. I’ll save my energy on this one.

These young guys who have spent their entire professional careers losing games while trying to learn non-schemes that make no sense and playing in lineups that make no sense with rotations that make no sense… Will suddenly flip a switch and become great and win a championship. mKay.

Suns: 4 offensive rebounds
Jazz: 19(!!) offensive rebounds
Suns: 20 Turnovers
Jazz: 14 turnovers
It seems some red-hot 3PT shooting from Daniels kept the Suns in the game. Hope he can do that on a nightly basis.

"I'd be terrified if I were a Suns fan because they are 13/26 from 3 and still losing"
-Jazz announcers

I was reading their board during the game last night and I couldn't help but wonder when suns fans became such major *** clowns.

Whole lot of big talk from fans of a treadmill team that has slowly worked their way to the bottom. Remember when Horny looked like he was going to take that team somewhere? I'm afraid we're going to have to bitch slap those punks and teach them some respect.

LOL, so they saw the LOAP thing?

You know what would make Phoenix feel better? Signing another point guard. It is almost like the compulsion that requires your aunt Edna to buy that next set of decorative salt and pepper shakers, even though the last 67 sets are unceremoniously thrown, unopened, in the spare bedroom closet.

can we just lay the "Utah is the whitest state in the country" misconception to bed please?

Salt Lake Area Racial Percentages

Right now, the Salt Lake Area is only ~70% white, and the ogden area is 64% white. This diversity is growing faster than the national average, and the percentage of whites in these areas is well below the US Median, which is 75% white.

Salt Lake City, West Valley, Kearns, and Ogden (which minus orem/provo, comprise the largest cities in the state), are all each nearer to 50-60% white, even sporting dozens of census tracts with less than 20% caucasian.

Provo-Orem is the only large metro area with > 75% caucasian, at 82% white in 2017.

Hell Even including some of the very white suburbs in Utah such as those in southern SL County, Utah County, and rural smaller cities, The entirety of Utah still isn't even in the top 15 whitest states in the nation.

Whitest States in the US by %
15) Indiana
14) Nebraska
13) Minnesota
12) Wisconsin
11) Idaho
10) South Dakota
9) Wyoming
8) Kentucky
7) Montana
6) Iowa
5) North Dakota
4) New Hampshire
3) West Virginia
2) Vermont
1) Maine

Utah is so white they cant even identify what 13% of Utah's population is.

Probably Latino/Hispanic alone. I don't know how you can get 24.8 as Hispanic origin without including that as a choice. Did 8%+ of Latinos select "White?" Because if all Latinos/Hispanics selected Some Other Race Alone or Mixed Race, the totals still don't match.

So there is basically a "race" question, Caucasian, Black, etc, then there is an ethnicity question, Hispanic/Latino. Hispanic is not a "race".

I went to the game so I didn't hear any of the commentary, however I thought the game on Friday wasn't broadcast on TV. Not that their can't be streams but usually if there is no TV then most of the time there isn't a steam, if there was a stream was it Locke doing the commentary since it was on the radio but not TV?

If you disregard Latino, Id question whether Native American or Pacific Islanders are races. Both can trace ancestry to Asia. But no matter, almost all Latinos should categorize themselves as mixed under this questionnaire (some combination of black and white or Indigenous peoples). But a good portion don't, as evidenced by the Latino/Hispanic total vs. the Some Other Race plus Mixed Race total. Clearly, many Latinos have classified themselves as White. It's a bad poll if you're trying to gauge the "whiteness" of Utah. Besides, do we even use the terms "White" and "Black" anymore? I haven't seen White on a survey in years. It's Caucasian if anything.

Many latinos do consider themself white. I guess they figure that they are mostly Spanish.

Yes, also there’s likely some ethnicities that consider themselves separate from the choices as well. I think the 2020 census is adding some more designations, like “middle eastern” or whatever they are going to call it. Should an Eskimo answer Native American? Idk . Plus I think there are people who don’t know how to answer and likely just select that option. But who really knows

It’s a poll on what race people consider themselves. 70% considered themselves white, whether they are Hispanic or otherwise

Actually they are going to streamline it with EZ-326 add-on form which streamlines it to a binary "oppressed" or "privileged." There is really no reason for guessing at DNA any longer.

I did look at the realgm thread after the game and boy, the ref whining is pretty bad. Bad in most fan forums, but this was bad. Makes you feel better, I guess...
