Befor Don and Rudy’s final year in Utah I was never in favor of trading Gobert because I didn’t think teams would give a fair offer, then the Wolves paid a Kevin Durant type offer. I was dumbfounded at the level of idiocy wolves management displayed.

Basically the jazz found the perfect situation with a team that has been trying for what seemed like decades to be relevant. Then last year happened their team had a lot of young talent and was up and coming, and the wolves believed too much in their own hype added with how desperately they wanted to be good cooked up the perfect storm for trader Danny to work his magic and do what he does best. I was against trading Rudy too, only because he's one of my favorite Jazz players ever and I've always thought it was brutal how unfairly the guy has been treated in NBA circles.

That said...holy **** was this trade just highway robbery.
