Yep. And the softer part of the schedule hits after December. Look for him to have a few more really big games this year. He’s already good for a solid 20 points per game. If it doesn’t happen at this point, I start wondering what went wrong.
Take away his game where he went out with the toe injury and Donovan is averaging 25 pts/game since November 25. That's over the course of 12 games.

I could see him getting another couple of 40+ points game as a rookie. He’s just so smooth with the ball in his hands.

I am really excited to play some teams with less-then-incredible-defenses again. not so much to get a win, but just to see Donovan have some more crazy *** dominant games. He's been doing this all month against strong, sophisticated defenses with top tier defensive players that were 100% focused on him...it's probably going to feel like taking off a weight vest when he plays a less capable team. The Nuggets aren't bad but I think he could have a big game tomorrow.

So true, Russell's kudos to his own players are mostly non existent let alone for him to walk over and compliment an opponent.
Donovan Mitchell reminds me of Westbrook during his rookie year after he took over the starting job from then Thunder starting point guard Earl Watson. Mitchell is scary; this young man hasn't reached 75% of his potential.
