Real GM- The Accelerated Rebuild

If Gilchrist is everything they say he is then I definitely want him. Barnes, relative to how much hype he's received, put up some less than impressive numbers and percentages. I'm not really seeing anything that really stands out (not saying he's not really good, just saying that I'm not seeing the type of talent I'd expect from the hype -- but I'm only limited to a few highlight videos here and there and his stats, FWIW).

Gilchrist was ranked by some services ahead of John Wall, when Wall was a senior and Gilchrist was only a sophomore (and that was not potential, it was as of that moment). However, you'll not find much flash in any of his videos. He's a do it all guy and fantastic teammate. Funny thing is, most reports say his only weakness is his perimeter shooting (I agree), yet against the best competition in the nation last year, he shot 40% from behind the arc. Not too bad for his only weakness.

Interesting..

It seems Burks has the handle and can pass..

I just wonder if he'll be fast enough?

But then again we had Jason Kidd in the Finals and he's no Spring chicken neither~

I'd have to look up the numbers but I think I was told that Burks 40 yard dash was faster than Chris Pauls.

Well Cyrone Torbin... uh.. I mean Tyrone Corbin has said that Burks would only play 'occasionally depending on match-ups' at the PG position.

So case closed. Burks' a SG.

You are aware the Internet allows you to go back and delete your mistake of saying his name wrong?

if thats what our wings are going to have to achieve to be "complimentary".... were **** out of luck

Kobe never got the credit he deserved when the Lakers won those championship. He had just as much and in some cases, more to do with the Lakers winning that last championship. Shaq gets the credit against Portland because he had the big dunk to put the Lakers up in game seven against Portland. Shaq had a great game but Kobe lead them back from a huge deficit. I guess what I am saying is Kobe was not a complimentary piece he was just as important as Shaq.

That is why Shaq and Kobe got spilt up. Shaq couldn't handle sharing the spot light. Kobe no longer wanted to play second fiddle.
