Nah, I would not give up a first while giving them a better team. From what I've read and seen with their team, Atlanta has a few priorities:
1. Stay under the tax threshold which is why they stupidly gave away Huerter for a draft pick.
2. They now need a shooter to replace Huerter. Their Bogdanovic (Bogdan) is injured and they would allegedly love to dump him in a deal. Beasley is from ATL and could fit that bill.
3. They would want a big in return that can play with Capela and Okongwu. Olynyk has enough ball skills to play with those two.
4. Their less urgent need is to to find a 3rd guard who can play the Lou Williams role for them. Clarkson and Sexton could be fits although they are win now and would likely demand JC. Their ownership is getting cheap and probably wouldn't want Sexton's contract.
5. They probably want at least one FRP to help re-stock their shelves after giving away so many in the Dejounte deal.
Olynyk, Beasley + Clarkson+ worst '23 FRP for Collins + Bogdanovic works financially. That's alot of change for a Jazz team that is playing so well at the moment though.
They could wait until December 15th and swap out JC for Sexton if ATL is willing to take on a multi year contract which I find doubtful after they gave away Huerter's contract.
If we getting JC, it's on a buy low that requires no picks
