Whites are lauded and celebrated for killing unarmed blacks for 'standing their ground'. Blacks get the death penalty. These injustices all over the country must come to an end! The media is almost as dangerous as the cops because of coverage and coverage style. Hopefully our movement continues to gain real momentum and change in the form of holding abusive/corrupt cops and irresponsible journalists responsible for their actions is in the near future! Have a blessed Sunday!

just a friendly reminder - the three infractions that earned you that suspension are still there - add a 4th and it's a longer suspension.

sad situations but too early to make a valid comparison since he's just been charged

the white guy was also charged and the charges were eventually dropped - let's see how the second incident plays out, and then compare any differences and similarities in the cases beyond just the race of the accused.
 
rhetoric, I think. I could see where some folks might think HH is gunning for "the way things are", trying to make a real fight of it. However I didn't see anything here that amounted to a direct threat on anyone in here, or on society at large. . . . unless you could get concerned with Obama's back-seat driving remark. . . "advice for ISIL" on how to manage public relations like a veteran Chicago community agitator would ordinarily do, especially white going to a some black churches where the reverend damns America for historical "injustices".

I could go on the warpath for the Cherokee. . . who are today so mixed with black heritage you might as well call them "blacks", like almost any American Native clan, after a few hundred years of sharing the periphery of power. . . ..

HH is sounding like he's been co-opted by some commie agitators trying to start race riots. . . . well, maybe.

My advice to HH is to stick to the specifics of any case, and avoid the broadside hate speech and invective. A lot of white folks don't think cops should be militarized , or trained to pull down on the trigger as a first option. I am just as concerned for abuses by cops against any citizen. . . . you can address this problem without resorting to racism yourself, bro.

save your life in Jazzfanz by defining the issue in a more productive way. . . .

but hey, hey if you're all about testing the limits of authority where ever you go, I guess there's no sense anyone trying to calm to you down.

That "article" was terrible, by the way. My favorite part was:

Dat bolded part, doe, it changes everything. Anyhow, thanks for the cited "estimates", it really helps paint a picture of cops gone wild. Breaking it down, there are twenty to thirty thousand cities in the United States, (depending on your definition of a city) so you're averaging one to one and a half swat deployments per year across the country. Staggering numbers, really.

Since the number of cities is difficult to quantify, let's just go by the population: There are 314,000,000 people in the United States. That means that the chances of you having a run in with those crazy, racist, shoot first - ask questions later, pig porkers is about 0.0004%. I can totally see why people are outraged and why the media keeps spoon feeding this garbage to stupid people.

I've made no unfounded claims in here or tried to incite any uproar. Funny that you and LogGrad are defensive about the thread. Very revealing. How were your Klan meetings this weekend? You and the boys have a laugh at Darren Wilson's latest joke while sipping Pina Colotas with each other?

Thanks for the neg and the insults. As for you making no unfounded claims, how about your assertion that someone has gotten the death penalty in this situation? That simply has not happened. You are twisting and even making up facts to support your agenda. Calling me a racist for pointing that out is simply absurd.

I actually haven't said a word about the thread. But trout and fish (O.o) both did an admirable job of debunking it. Nice try to incite controversy though. I am firmly in the camp that you are a closet klansman.

Magee (the white man) was not charged by the grand jury for the shooting of the police. Guy (the black man) was.

In comparison, we've gone from a couple per day in the entire country to a several per day per state, and you don't think that increase is large?

There are a lot of things that haven't happened yet. That doesn't make it okay to write about those things as if they have already happened. People who call racist on every single instance where skin tone might have played a role don't seem to realize that they are setting themselves up for Chicken Little treatment.

Love me the colotas. With a pineapple, though? That's getting a little kinky, but I wouldn't put it past LogGrad.
 
This guy is a cop so I thought you'd be celebrating the prosecution of a "pig". Good to know it's not all cops you hate, just white ones.
