I posted this video in another thread, but decided to make it it's own thread because it's an important issue for voters on foreign policy.
Most say they are for war on Iran because they MAY become nuclear capable soon, and also mention that Iran has made statements they want to wipe Israel off of the planet.
They say we need to come to the aid of our friends Israel to protect them, but I dare say look at what the Prime Minister of Israel said in a statement on the house floor a few months ago.

I agree with not sending troops or money there. I say suspend all foreign aid and re-evaluate every case and choose what we really want to invest in. Billions wasted each year for nothing. Often in cases to people who hate or are unfirendly to America.

However I am very protective of my family and friends in real life. I have that view on a world scale as well. We need to be very careful on who we claim as friends. Because if they are attacked I am all for defending them with action.

Benny boy probably understands that Iran's not really where the US is looking. Iran might be the quickest way to getting China to react outside attacking them directly, however, which is why Iran is being targeted. In the meantime, if you're one of the great leaders of these war nations, just beat the war drums a little and get Lockheed/GD/Raytheon/Boeing etc. some of that oil money as prices roof from those rich US friendly Gulf States that your intelligence agencies have conveniently convinced that the Persians are coming to blow them up so they buy all the newest defense toys, and just sit back at the top of the Burj Khalifa and just stare at the world and pound your chest and yell about how you're the ****ing man. Then when Iran never does anything, and Europe's economy looks like a complete train wreck because you've been lying to the world over and over again and none of these banking houses actually have any real money, that's when you fire the first shot....or pull out another Gulf of Tonkin.....because....well.....you have to. Your house of cards falls without it.

It's all essentially the same reasons why Rome had armies living off the spoils of war, always seeking to annex a new outlying bunch of peasants/farmers/barbarians so they could become governors of the province and get the parade back in Rome.

Preening in our greatness, looking like arrogant idiots.

We've come a long way from our first timid entries into colonialism/globalism with "Speak softly and carry a big stick". "Manifest Destiny" on the world stage today is the mandate for the New World Order and all the global governance projects. It's fascism, not democracy. It's statism and the abolition of true human rights, not project week for building a new "democracy".

We're not going to stop the megalomaniacal plantation manager crowd until we unseat their paid-for candidates. We have to just stop buying the bs lies and supporting these morons.

Maybe they should copy your boy Obama and drone strike the hell out of innocent civilians.

I fail to see where this comment fits in with this conversation at all.....
Obviously everyone commenting on this thread disagrees with these unjust wars dumbass.

Or you pull another 9/11 right??

Ron Paul is a real Republican. Well, at least a lot more what the party should be, maybe was.
He's not in bed with pseudo christians. He'll stay out of your business even if you have different beliefs than he does.

I may not agree with everything he believes in, and obviously if he were elected a lot of what he believes would never happen.
He still is a voice of some sanity in a room full of smokes and mirrors.

Scrap that. Actually, I don't even recall making that comment. Too much apple cider vinegar last night.

I prefer CIA operations killing that douche Kim Jung Ayatollah. Then send a strong message to the Persian puppet Mahmoud that he better transition the country back into a Persian democracy like it was headed for before we ****ed up the first time 54 years ago.

Ahmadinejihad is a peaceful dude and wants to return the country back to his people, but he flaps his lips with too much Silencer1313 type anti-American paranoia. It's probably to appease that sycophant pervert our leaders never address... well, unless Obama bowed down to him too.

You just lost me. Don't bother with some long winded vehement rant. I won't buy it just as you won't buy my rationale on why I disagree.

Not much long winded-ness needed.
Look at the Gulf of Tokien inccident, and tell me that false flag terror attacks don't happen.
I'll buy everything you have to say, because I don't believe people are making things up.
At the same time, I know governments have been involved in false flag terror since the Roman empire.

It was pretty hard to understand what you had to say here. Run on sentence, after run on sentence...... but I think I get it I guess.
This would be your typical "Jazzfanz"type address to anything important.
To make a jackass comment, and claim it was serious.

I didn't say I disagreed. All I'm saying is they will always pull another false-flag terror attack just like the 9/11 attacks.

It is possible that this was a false flag terror attack. You cannot prove it was and you cannot prove it was not. I for one am not going to waste my time worrying about it.

Anybody that doesn't believe they are happening consistently is crazy. Eric Holder's Gun running program fits under the guidelines of false flag. The supposed terrorist that was arrested about a month ago that was said to be directed by high level Iranian officials fits under the guidelines of false flag operations considering it was totally unfounded. You can't just setup things and blame them on other countries/groups and call them the truth and dictate your policy in that direction for years and years to come. Okay, in this ****ed up world you actually can, but you shouldn't be able to and heads should roll every time one of your stupid operations are exposed.

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to Duck Rodgers again.

Our whole spy agency/MIC complex-coordinated set of agencies. . . . . is unconstitutional. We've never really gotten competent at defining our national interests in a way that the common American would understand as their interests in the first place. The spy agencies function essentially as corporate adjuncts/enforcers or serve extra-national elitists. We shouldn't be paying the freight, or letting these honchos run their drug operations to support their own agendas we know nothing about.

The Queen of England has her own spies, but we literally hand over our work to her, for her use. The Israelis have one of the best spy networks, and usually are ahead of almost everybody else, but they are willing to use and abuse any trust we give them. Russia and China have their agendas too. All in all, we're just in bad company playing these games.

"Alliance with none, commerce with all", and competency to defend our understandable public interests is all we need.

Yeah you're right, it's basically impossible to prove one or the other.
There's too many questions, and too many holes in the story.
One thing is easily seen though, government cover up of facts and evidence that should've been shown to the general public.
