Reasons to vote conservative

Probably dont post terrible sources for information if you want to convince people of something. When you post fox news or daily wire among other things it makes me assume you dont know how to decipher information or have bought so far into propaganda that its impossible to have a meaningful discussion with.

Here is the main reason to vote Democrat this election. The majority of Americans dont support Trump. So we should use our ability to vote to take some of his power away so he doesnt have the majority in the house or senate.

  1. Support of sanctuary cities. Most Americans, even Hispanics, oppose sanctuary cities.
I'm on the fence for this but the way immigration is being handled by Trump, I can understand why they exist.
  1. Blaming “racism” for everything. Overuse of the term makes it lose its meaning. If everyone is racist, then nobody is.
Racism is growing rather than a reverse and it seems the red-necks who continue to harbor antebellum ideas about race are rising up thanks to encouragement from Herr Meister Trump
  1. Silencing certain views. Many people who aren’t particularly political understand the dangers of censorship and will step up to oppose it.
Agree with that. We need to protect everyone's First Amendment Rights
  1. Opposing border enforcement. About 80 percent of Americans support secure borders. They also oppose “open borders” and want a border wall.
I don't oppose securing the borders, but I oppose the Wall -- it's the way fascists deal with problems
  1. Backing those who kneel for the American flag. A majority of Americans say it’s “never appropriate to kneel for the flag” or to kneel for the National Anthem. Eight in 10 say it’s “never appropriate to burn an American flag.”
I back them because I believe in the First Amendment
  1. Impeaching President Trump. First, it was for Russia. Now, it’s over taxes. But most Americans oppose impeaching Trump. (It’s not even close.)
God I hope he is impeached, somehow, please, if there is a God, find a way.
  1. Abolishing ICE. Even most Democrats oppose doing away with Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
ICE is a fascist operation
  1. Chasing Republicans out of restaurants. The imagery transforms people such as GOP senators Mitch McConnell of Kentucky and Ted Cruz of Texas into sympathetic figures under assault from unreasonable mobs.
I'm not sure anything can make Mitch sympathetic ... the turkey, who gobbles up coal for breakfast
  1. The Kavanaugh chaos. The fight over the confirmation of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh highlighted multiple tactics that many find objectionable: the weaponization of #MeToo, mob behavior, a guilty-until-proven-innocent mentality. It also gave Republicans the opportunity to fight back strongly (for once) and win, in a way for which their constituents had long thirsted.
Didn't agree with how that was handled
  1. Illegal immigration caravan. Whoever may have thought that a “caravan” of people from Central America overrunning the Mexican border, on their way to demand entry to the United States, would be anything other than a motivator for the majority of Americans who support border enforcement — that person fails to understand all of the above.
I wouldn't be surprised if the Trump Administration is staging this to gain support for his immigration policies.

I'll vote for a 2nd Trump term. The crybabies are too irrational right now to trust with anything but plastic utensils and sippy cups.

Besides, hes done a pretty decent job all things considered.

Sadly, Fox has become the only rational outlet.

I guess you agree with rolling back environmental regulations and turning over National Parks for development? Pipelines make America great and also pollute our water. Coal is good for your lungs. And Global Warming is a fait complit, so why bother with cutting back on use of fossil fuels. And it's ok for the President to be a racist, misogynist, and encourage right-wing wackos to shoot people.

The environment is just fine. The regulations I've seen fixed were good fixes. I'm guessing you havent read any of them yourself, or an analysis of why changes were made to certain individual requirements. I have and the changes were good.

Sorry Ron but this is just dumb. The mainstream media is 92% negative on Pres. Trump. There is very little truth there. If there is truth it is slanted and distorted. So much good is omitted and ignored. Do you even read the articles I post? The people that post them are just as reasonable and professional as your "sources".

You will miss out on a lot of great information if you close your mind and immediately dismiss it.

If you want to be more specific and cite the changes and why they're good, have at it. I only know the general philosophy of what the EPA is doing and some of the noxious things it is proposing, which aren't good.

Found a great article in National Geographic which was just updated two days ago:
https://news.nationalgeographic.com/2017/03/how-trump-is-changing-science-environment/

I just quickly scanned it, so will need time to read it later.
