You've all been diddled by the Millers. Kanter would have looked just as good here and management knew it. They purposefully didnt surround and use Kanter correctly because they are cheap and tried to hold his value down. Being dirty like that blew up in there faces and now they look dumb to everyone not a Jazz fan. He was in the right demanding a trade for the way Utah abused him. Now he will shine and become a max player this summer. Higher max than Hayward.

I'm not getting nicked by this used car sales pitch. He's also a much better pick and roll defender than you claim. He was last in the league here because they kept switching his coverage to confuse him, and playing him with Burke instead of Dante. He only played 150 minutes with Dante and he looked damn good on defense during that time.

Boy I hope so. That would be as bad of a decision as acquiring Kendrick Perkins - which was the main thing that cost them James Harden. They extended Perkins in 2011, knowing that they needed to deal with Ibaka and Harden in 2012. Honestly, considering the assets that they had at the time. . . imagine if the Thunder had just invested in their 4 homegrown guys - Ibaka, Durant, Harden and Westbrook. . . and then supplement that talent with depth and role players. That's essentially what the Jazz are doing. They just decided to not make Enes Kanter their Kendrick Perkins.

Russ has no idea when to do what. His shot has been off the entire second half but he's gone into hero mode and shot Portland right back into the game.

Russ going into "hero ball" mode has been our biggest downfall for the second straight game, though.

Russ is the worst sometimes. His teammates might as well not even be out there when he does this ****. He makes it hard to watch sometimes. Every one of his teammates know they aren't getting the ball unless it's by accident.

Russ said he shot too much and needs to trust his teammates...Yet he is in hero mode right now. Needs to work Ibaka in again.

We absolutely need him to temper and balance out Russ' "hero ball" moments.

Well I don't know how this is gonna end but I can pretty confidently say that Russ is gonna take every shot for us the rest of the game. Which is bad considering I don't think he's made a jumper in the second half.

Russ didn't learn from last night, even after admitting he took too many shots.

Russ is so ****ing dumb. Hero ball in full effect. Whatever gets drawn up here, it's not getting ran. We're winning of losing this on whatever Russ decides to do. Guy needs to wake up and realize he's so much better when he gets everyone involved. But he's never gonna change, it's his 7th year in the league, he is what he is.

Triple doubles are pretty empty when you single handedly shoot your team out of two games in a row.

I saw 2 wide open players.. Serge was just sitting there waiting for a pass he has a WIDE OPEN lane to the basket.. DJ even was sitting there at the wing of the 3pt line nobody on him.. Russ still just has to shoot over 3 people to try and win it the game..

In the 4th quarter he ignored everyone and missed 90% of his shots

He ignored everyone all 4th quarter tonight. His jumper was off and he just kept taking jumper after jumper.

Serious question, does anyone remember another player besides Russ taking a single shot in the 4th? (Some guy answered that question that he remembers other 4-5 attempts from the rest of the team)

Doesn't really matter who's out there when Russ goes into **** everyone mode. He's not ever passing the ball so no one else has a chance to do anything. We've all played with that guy at the gym that won't give the ball up. Gets frustrating when you're out there working hard on defense, knowing there's zero chance you're ever gonna see the ball on offense.

People can't take advantage of the attention Russell commands and then turn around and say if he passed more they'd have bigger nights. That's what comes with it. If he was just some regular rotation guy that sat in the corner and waited for kickouts then no one would give a ****. Since he has the ability to make plays everything is magnified. They should be thankful for the pressure he puts on the defense, and hope he can improve his decision-making.
