I've never rated Mirotic that highly. I don't even think he is a key piece to a Championship winning team. Does he even play defense?
He's an ok defender. He's a good rebounder especially considering how he plays. He would seem to fit well in this kind of system. I still think the JAzz would need another star player and for Donovan to progress some more to be legit contenders.

Top twenty protected then two second rounders.I can't believe anybody thinks a team in Utah's position should be trading their 3rd FRP in 3 years for a guy with one year left on his deal. The first twp picks were well worth the gamble, but this one isn't even close. That's the kind of move where you have to start thinking about firing the GM, and DL is way smarter than that.
No, I think you are assuming the Jazz will offer too much for Mirotic.
