Trust me, there wont ever be a time when i let some white dude from southern utah tell me what my name and identity are. My dad is Jamaican, and my mother is Puerto Rican. I was born during a brief stay in Utah, when my mother was taking care of my grandma in West Valley. I've spent the majority of my life in Miami and Jamaica. All said, I've been exposed to many different ideological framings for identities and terms... Nobody who knows my peoples' history accepts the terms you're so brazenly determined to uphold. Its hilarious to listen to your confidence on these issues. It's been entertaining.

I don't think he was being racist, but as a rule I would prefer not to see the word monkey and a dark skinned individual here at all, just for the headaches it can cause.
