If the 49ers pick up Donovan as they have been rumored to today, I don't see them going up anywhere anytime soon. I like McNabb and all, but age and bouncing to different teams seem to make a good QB spiral downward quickly. With Luck staying I also don't see any real solid quarterbacks coming out of the draft this year so your looking at a stopgap QB until you can draft and develop one. Plus the Rams are going to get nothing but better. I'd say the Niners are probably three years away.

What McNabb rumors are you talking about? I'm finding nothing from all the usual 49ers sources I check. I'm not sold on McNabb. I'd rather take a chance on Orton, Kolb, or Flynn. I realize the 49ers need to pick up a vet to play right away while they groom a drafted QB. There will be many options available. With what I've heard about Harbaugh developing QBs, I'm not too worried that he'll be able to find one.

*Edit* One other QB vet option I failed to mention is Josh Johnson. He's currently Tampa Bay's backup, and has played for Harbaugh. Like I said many options out there. I trust Harbaugh to get the right guy to get the job done.

I heard yesterday on ESPN radio that the 49ers were the main team in a pool of 3-4 that were interested in him. I like Harbaugh a lot but I'm always wary of College coaches making the transition to the NFL.

The joke here was that you can anonymously attack anyone on the internet, and Fox News is an internet site with hilarious comments. You can interchange HuffPost here, or MSNBC.

It was me. You were getting annoying. Flame away after yer done crying. For the record, your post immediately after was pretty funny, but I can't rep it till tomorrow. So consider it a neutral rep, or maybe one ahead by the time I get around to it.
