Revisiting the Trey Burke trade

Burke gets too much hate, his assists/to ratio is pretty good considering his age and how bad Jazz are shooting.

However, does anyone else feel like phi future despite being 0-16 appears better than the Jazz who have been rebuilding longer? For example Dario Saric just won Euroleague player of the month at 20 years age, being youngest player ever to do so.

Depends on the health of Embiid.

Orlando isn't good lol, they have one quality win against Phoenix and the rest against the bottom feeders of the leastern conference.
I don't like any of their players honestly, not even Vuc.

I really like Oladipo, Fournier, and Payton. Harris is nice too.

They did something I wish we would of done. They flipped some vets who weren't long term pieces for assets. They got Fournier for Afflalo. Fournier is having a pretty good year thus far. Great shooter.

4 years???? This is year two my friend.

I'd say this is year 2 of going full rebuild, but anytime you trade your star player for a bunch of rebuilding pieces, you are pretty much rebuilding regardless of what you call it. Combine that with losing your coach of 20 years and we are talking about a drastically different team.

Yah, I've liked Orlando, too. Vucevic is a great young big man, too... I don't like their coach very much and the in-game decisions he makes...

So I admit you are sort of right. My brief sentence allowed for room to assign meaning. I should have been more precise in declaring rebuild. Certainly Orlando is not finished rebuilding, although I'm not certain when a rebuild ends...playoffs maybe, so there is room for argument and time for the conditions to change.

But I will disagree with you on their players, they have many nice players and I think they are way ahead of the jazz.

You may not like Vucivic, but jazz couldn't get him straight up for Kanter or Favors. Orlando would hang up laughing. Favors or Hayward might get you Harris if Orlando thought they could make up the scoring somewhere else and Aaron Gordon could do what Harris does. Alec Burks for Fournier, or Oladipo isn't happening. And I doubt Orlando would trade Payton for Trey. Orlando has done better with the draft picks and trades they have made and have a better core of young talent.

When do they play the Jazz? We will see who's tank is stronger.

Orlando did an amazing tank & rebuild too, faster and better than Jazz or Philly.

Jazz are depressing. 4 years into a rebuild and they look like they could easily be another 4 because of bad choices.

I like the way the Milwaukee Bucks rebuilt.

We got Trey, they got Giannis: Milwaukee with the clear win.
They got Jabari, Utah got Exum: advantage Milwaukee (for now).
Jazz chose Kanter instead of Knight, who Milwaukee traded for. Advantage?

But we have Hayward, who is better than every player on that team AND we have Favors who is >>>>>> than Sanders at the same price.

Also, Giannis = 11, 6, and 2 While Trey = 10, 6, and 2 with the assists and rebounds flipped. . . I like Giannis, but he certainly isn't godlike talent. If Exum isn't pulling better than 11, 6, and 2 by this point next season I will be disappointed.

Darren Collison, who is having a pretty good year in Sactown.

Don't know about that. Collison might be small as is Trey but he is really quick and actually tries to play defense and actually does quiet well the times I have seen him.
