I think you have it all wrong. I read Larry Coon's page closely and he says you can't combined the TPE with celery. A player's salary is just fine.

An insider article posted a number of hypothetical trades for Paul Pierce that were designed to be somewhat plausible. However the proposal to send Paul Pierce to the Utah Jazz was downright insulting.




Is there any fan that would consider either of these trades for Pierce (even assuming more salary was sent back to make them work under the cap)? It seems like Pierce is only a good decision if you're trying to win the championship essentially this season. Why would he even be on Utah's radar?
