His mic was super quiet but he just talked about how some guys like him got no symptoms and you look at someone like Rudy who lost taste or something. He also while playing gave everyone his compliment comment like "you look at guys like Bojan, Mike, JC......" Rudy made the list. Donovan honestly seems in great spirits and is on the other side of it. I'm really happy Donovan and his family are all good. I hope Rudy will update us soon on his well being. He was playing with the creator of NBA 2k for a livestream of Jazz vs Mavs which would have been happening tonight.

Or maybe they have behind closed doors and not on social media. That’s the mature way to do something. We have no idea really.
I think it's probably what the Jazz prefer as well. The Knicks have shown us how bad of an idea it is to make all things a press release and public. Whether Rudy is still on the team long term is probably up in the air for several reasons, but it did seem like Donovan had let it go, he just doesn't want to talk about it publicly. Which really at this point. It's between them.

Agreed. But at the same time he’s been flawless for 3 years. He was probably in shock, mad, and 23 years old. The way he acts long term will tell us more than what one bad moment did. I’ve seen people’s posts of lunches and Body Armor drinks he donated today on twitter. He’s a good person, I’m happy to have Don here for sure.

DM also just did a live podcast with Josh Hart. During it he mentioned Rudy a few more times. He’s obviously went from cooling off to cooled off. They talked about the game where Rudy got fouled with .02 seconds left. Don defended he got fouled there. Don also defended the obvious hack on Brandon Ingram we beat the Pelicans with the game prior and called it a block by Rudy. Idk what Rudy’s reaction to this is going to end up being but it seems likely DM will sit it aside at this point. Obviously they’re going to need to talk some things out. I still don’t know if Rudy ends up being here after this but DM is not avoiding Rudy’s name anymore.

What do you mean obviously? Did Donovan say he hasn’t talked to Rudy? I’m asking because I didn’t read every post in this thread.
I don’t know if they’ve talked. By the way he’s acting I wouldn’t be surprised if they have though. He seemed fine during the podcast in regards to Rudy. Doesn’t mean they’re good, but his tone is certainly different than that GMA interview in regards to him.

I asked because you said they obviously need to talk as if they haven’t. We haven’t a clue as to if they have or haven’t. Hopefully they have and this passes and it makes their relationship on and off the court stronger and they mature from this in a way that transfers on the court.
I could totally see that happen.
