Ringer Top 100, Lauri moved up, Kessler snub?

I'm a bit surprised Walker still isn't in the top 100. Not sure Mitchell Robinson or Jabari Smith are better right now.

Lauri moved up 10 spots to #43. That feels about right. The Jazz are tied with Washington and Brooklyn for least players on the list (1), but Lauri is the highest rated over McCollum (WAS) and Porter Jr (Nets).

Anyone think the Jazz end up with 2 (or maybe 3?) on this list by the end of the year?

I don't think people know how to rank Kessler because his defenses have been so bad.

I think it's mostly because Hardy intentionally minimizes Kessler, but others may blame Kessler for how historically terrible the Jazz have been defensively in his career.

It's... really hard to finish 30th in defense two years in a row with a competent starting center.

Ace or Brice could flirt with the top 100 if they have good seasons. Kessler should be in there.

I don’t get the Zubac love. He’s not a top 50 guy, imo.

Overall I don't hate this top 100. There are some guys that are perpetually overrated and Walker should be on the list imo.

Yeah I think that's a good point. I truly don't think it's Walker's fault, but that's a reasonable conclusion for analysts to make.

I feel like these lists are always too much influenced by name recognition and fan appeasing.

Walker was our best player last year and even if we could shrug off Lauri's year as "down year" I dont think anyone can argue that Kesslers year was an anomaly rather than progress.

I mean I'd take him over Robinson and Duren and they landed in the 80s.

Think Kessler should probably be in the top 100, but hard to really fault anyone trying to rank players in our situation.
