What's new

RIP BYU

The backup has looked pretty good doe.

But ya, devastating

I really could not give two ****s about BYU, but I do feel bad for Hill. All of his dreams down the toilet in one play.
I wouldn't go that far
He isn't a sr.

He will heal, and be a badass **** next year too

The only problem is that now Bronco can blame the loss on Taysom's injury. When will Bronco take the blame for not teaching discipline? Stupid penalties finally caught up to them. And they finally played a team that had some speed at WR. Worst secondary I've ever seen, no pass rush. This team was not nearly as good most everyone thought. Here's to hoping they lose the rest of their games and make a coaching change.

It's 100 percent on coaching.

The defense? Looked lost. No blitzing until late 2nd half. To Utah state's credit, they came out swinging and did not feel sorry for themselves playing without chucky. Hell, their QB could school Travis Wilson!
Vigil is a beast.
The offense? Been saying it for weeks that the passing game needed to be reved up. Could you just "win" with Taysom running? Yes. But I'm sold that QBs only have a certain amount of runs per year in them. Bob used up all his runs for the year in a handful of takes.

The coaching overall? It's obvious they weren't prepared. They thought all they had to do was show up and kick Utah State's ***. No emotion to start and terrible penalties.

It is very unfortunate for byu and especially for Taysom. We Aggies know how the cougs are feelingb at the moment.

Congrats to Utah state for taking it to the Cougars. Even if Hill hadn't been injured, you likely would have won the game.

I agree.. the defense sucked even before and there were too many mistakes to score more imo. Good job to the Aggies.

Oh, and their QB was excellent. Spot on with all those deep throws, impressive.

Agreed.
Byu's defense looks horrible

I think what has annoyed me about BYU fans, players, etc is the fact that anytime BYU shows promise, it's immediately assumed they've returned to the glory they rightfully deserve. I remember fans calling for an undefeated season in August of Crowton's 2nd year. Remember the "Quest For Perfection "? Over by the first week of October. This years run was also blew to pieces in the first week of October.

It's cool that you get for excited when your team is good, but in the future can we at wait until past midseason before the terms undefeated, playoff, and Heisman are used?

Thanks.

It depends on the schedule.
When you are favored in every game on your schedule and the national media is talking about your team going undefeated, then of course fans are going to get excited about an undefeated season.

Not that big a deal really.

I have a couple of co-workers from oregon and they had been excitedly taking about going undefeated this season.

Alot of fans of teams get excited about going undefeated when most of the nation thinks you have a good chance to do so.

Byu had the HIGHEST probability of going undefeated of any team in the nation, according to usa today, espn, etc.

It's fine if you have a problem with fans taking about going undefeated early in the year, but you are a little bit naive if you think byu fans are the only ones that get excited about it..... quite the opposite. Most fans of teams with a decent/realistic chance of going undefeated talk about it.

Yes.

Let's all be more like those rational Utah fans who call Drez a sure NFL pick, Travis a pac12 QB, and Utah winning 8 games in the PAC. I mean, we all saw those rational Utah fans staying calm after creaming 3 high school teams...

This is why you should never post when you're drunk.
