What's new

RIP Chris Cornell

Well, and the dude from Candlebox.

Just had a discussion with the wife yesterday about his amazing voice and wanting to see him live again....Suicide sucks!

2017 certainly didn't slow down on taking the musicians away.

Every year celebrities will die. Never gonna change.

Yeah but they didn't give the world Superunknown, the man actually had some talent.
Fair enough. The album/music didn't die though. You can still listen to it.
Just seems like every year some famous person dies and so many people get so upset.
Princess diani, Robin williams, heath ledger, Michael jackson, David bowie, Paul walker, Amy winehouse, tons more every year.

I don't think there is anyone in the world who I don't personally know who would affect me emotionally if they died.

I'm was/am a huge Tupac fan and when he died I thought that it sucks that he won't make any more music (little did I know he would have a bunch more albums come out after he died lol) but that's all. I wasn't actually sad about it for even a second. I didn't know him, never talked to him or anything. Why would I be upset when he died?

Same thing for any other musicians, performers, actors, athletes, or any type of celebrity.

Maybe I'm just cold hearted in that regard.

The reaction to princess Di was the most unbelievable. People literally tearing their clothes, rolling around on the ground, hysterical in tears. It was like they had their puppy curb-stomped in front of them. I just really didn't and still don't get that.

Cold as ice! I was bummed about Williams and Winehouse they were originals and had more to contribute to the world. I don't like seeing anyone with talent die before their time, I'd draw a line between a celebrity and a talent, a whole bus load of reality TV contestants could die in a huge fireball and I'd call for marshmallows.

But I also get what you're saying who really gives a ****? A mate of mine said a new Chris Cornell album was supposed to dropping later this year, I said yeah like his centre of mass. Funny thing is I went to a record store yesterday and walked out with a whole bunch of soundgar... Wait no! Miles Davis, Coltrane and Lou Reed albums...

Every opportunity in life and still ****ed it up. That was such a long week, 24/7 TV coverage on almost every TV channel, wonder what will happen here when the Queen falls off the perch?
