If someone can explain to me how the Jazz can keep CP3 in check while also containing Harden I'm willing to go full biased Jazz fan but I just don't see how the Jazz expect to contain the pair of them without CP3 pulling a hamstring.

Might not be a bad idea to put Allen on them. I kind of like his defense on Harden here (only a little sarcastic)

I think Rudy will be the key. Our whole focus this year was to give him the ball underneath the basket. As soon as rockets switch on him, we will hit him and make them pay.

Yep. Last year after the Warriors loss, they made their forum private for a while on Reddit due to avalanche of trolls (people don't like the Rockets). If the Jazz beat them, there's a chance they just delete the whole thing.

What I like about this video is that it shows how to avoid Harden's infamous arm sweep to draw fouls at the 3-point line. The flaw in this technique is that it provides a clear path to the rim, leaving the center on the hook to defend the paint by himself.

Call me a homer, but I like Gobert's chances against Harden in the paint.

Capela was great, but I don't quite buy this narrative. Rudy has both greater, and more subtle responsibilities on his team.

The part that wasn’t fair was that it wasn’t like Rudy has a Harden who was feeding him and putting pressure on the defense... Rudy has to worry about harden CP and Capela.

Rudy also wasn’t full strength. The narrative was just so bad... national guys acted like he got played off the floor and that he was a liability on defense... defensively we were pretty good last year. Offensively we sucked and tha was more about our perimeter guys than Rudy.

He didn’t play his best but Felt like he got unfairly dumped on.

This matchup does make me kinda sad we didn't get Conley... wasn't the biggest fan of the deal but we'd matchup with these bastards pretty well with a healthy Conley.

Also the fact that DM is hitting spot up threes at such a high clip does make the case that he could go off ball more and be more efficient if we had some decent options.
