What's new

Ronnie Brewer

The likelihood that it doesn't become a pick at all are incredibly scarce. Especially between 2013 and 2015.

Yawn

Meh

We waited so long in anticipation for this NY pick. I don't think any of us should hold our breath on the Grizz pick. If it turns out to be anything great if not, 'meh'

A pick's a pick. It's always an asset. I could've made 5 picks in the 2nd round this year.

Seeing as how Korver is or should be gone, I've made a rule about picks; never include them in a trade unless it's a major cog (4th or higher in importance on the roster) in a contender. I would've loved #23.

I feel sorry for Ronnie B.
Talks went nowhere with his agent last summer because he wanted too much money. To think you're going to be in line for a nice $20M or so contract, then it's all taken away due to an unfortunate injury.

It's not the injury. People recover from tearing up their hammy. Dude isn't that good and everyone in the league realizes it except for Jazz fans that would rather hate on KOC than acknowledge that he made a very savvy move.

I knew something was up when Memphis drafted a SG - Xavier Henry. It is kind of sad they have given up on Brewer after he got injured.

I would welcome him back but obviously not in the same role that Matthews won from him. He could be a tremendous bench player that brings energy. I thought he was getting better in some areas(passing, man to man defense, rebounding). I know everyone hates his shooting, but he is very familiar with the jazz offense.

A little harsh. Brewer is a decent player if you have other outside shooters. Ronnie was most effective, IMO, when he played SF when AK was injured and not as a starting SG. Ronnie has some good skills around the basket. He'll land somewhere as a solid backup and spot starter.

Would you rather have RB or Jeffers? Seriously!!! The Money thing ain't squat compared to big money deals.

Of course the Jazz would rather have RB. Of course I would rather have RB. But money is an issue, whether crazy fans like to admit it or not.
