Rookie Contract Power Rankings

1. Ace (pretty clear)
2. Kessler (pretty clear)
3. Keyonte
4. Brice
5. Flip
6. Hendricks (expect him to rise in short order)
7. Walt
8. Collier (not a long-term guy)
9. Cody (not a long-term guy)
That's pretty much my list as well

1 and 2 and 8 and 9 feel like near locks, 3-7 is more interesting. I could any ordering of future performance from Keyonte, Brice, Filipowski, Hendricks, and WCJ and would not be surprised.

1. Ace (possible franchise guy)
2. Brice (Potential top five shooter in the league)
3. Hendricks (love his combination of physical tools and shooting seems further along than expected has me excited)
4. Flip(Sabonis lite would be higher on my list but defense is poo poo)
5. Collier(If he could improve his shooting and ft Shooting to 65%ft and 33%3pt he’s a very solid floor general but this could change very quick if he shows little to no improvement in the first ten games or so.)
6. Kessler(I’d like to have him higher up but sounds like he wants a lot of money for a guy limited offensively and can’t shoot or hit ft’s with any regularity.)
7. Key (before I get more excited he needs to prove he’s more efficient offensively and show he’s a little better defensively)
8. Cody(I see improvement need to see more confidence in his shot handles and finishing at the rim.
9. Walt. (I’m not sure if he will adjust to the speed of the game. I don’t trust his athleticism at 6-2 can he be a pg, and he gets his shot blocked a lot it seems.

WCJ shot 4/22 (18%) on 3PAs in preseason. Obviously that needs to improve markedly. He hasn't missed a FT though, so that bodes well.

1. Ace Bailey
2A. Walker Kessler
2B. Keyonte George (I may be his biggest believer on here I want to make hik 2 but don’t wanna get judged)
4. Sensabaugh
5. T henny
6. Cody Williams
7. WCJ
8. Flip
9. Collier

I just really hate watching Kyle filipowski play defense his flaws are easier to spot since he’s a big with small arms

Brice Sensabaugh is magical was looking for the hype thread but couldn’t find it genuinely everytime he shoots the ball I think it’s going in

Good post. I think it would still be Kessler, but I have to think about it. Key has been amazing, but Ace has a chance to be a two way guy.
I think my #1 might be Keyonte. 3rd year guards who average what he averages just arent common and every passing day it's proving to be more sustainable. He's right in line with the 3rd year of star guards like Devin Booker/SGA/Mitchell/Maxey/Edwards/Cade

I don't feel like reading back through the pages of this thread, but I know there are a lot of rankings where Cody is above Collier. It's pretty damn near impossible to justify that—at least at this juncture.

My post-preseason rankings:

1. Ace
2. Kessler
3. Flip (really excited about his upcoming season)
4. Hendricks (ranked this high because he looked much better than I anticipated, given his time off, and because of the value of his archetype. I think it's much safer now to bet on him becoming a starting-caliber player.)
5. Keyonte (could easily rise beyond Hendricks if the TS% and defense improve)
6. WCJ (once his shooting comes online, he could push for third or fourth)
7. Brice (he could honestly be pushing for second or third on this list if he proved more defensively. I'm a genuine believer in his offense.)
8. Collier
9. Cody (he showed me that he could be a riser on this list. But, right now, he's still ninth.)
Happy to be wrong about my last Keyonte ranking.
