If Corbin played Burke at his natural position I think he takes this award running away.
I think this draft case really can't be properly evaluated until next year or so. Most of the top picks were either injured or dealing with some lingering effects from injuries.

It's fair enough, I guess. Trey is probably a top-5 rookie from this class.

Not a knock on Burke, but Oladipo deserved 2nd place. He was a little better across the board (outside of assist numbers), and his shooting percentages were a good deal better than Burke.

Burke wasn't very good this year.
Oladipo was better IMO, cuz, you know, defense.

Seems like the right spot for him to me. Rookies are all about situation and minutes though. For all we know Schroeder could pass up Burke one day.

Oladipo had a few monster games, including a 30point 14 assist 9 rebound game vs the Knicks
13.8ppg, 4.1rebs, 4.1 assists is a nice rookie season.
