Roster Addition Wish List

that's why he was done. In fact he was out of league for several months till a under-manned Nets picked him up, and he got better in time. It's like 99% of the players were out of the league that way and Dinwiddie was that 1% who got back from it. It's like calling math tests and college useless simply because Bill Gates dropped out of college. So I'm not sure the same thing can be said about Allen, who is also 2 full yrs older than Dinwiddie when he came in.

Your analogy is bad.

Grayson Allen needs get better and I think thats nuff said. Saying stuff like small sample size is just making excuses at this point. Spencer Dinwiddie was out of the league. And he will be out of the league if he doesn't play better. Spencer Dinwiddie got his second chance and I'm not sure if Grayson will.

Small sample size is a fact. Its not an excuse.

Grayson is on a guaranteed contract. The Jazz arent going to give up on him.

Nor should they... he has trade value too. @jom2003 needs to let it breathe.

In small samples shooting can tilt heavily one way or another... Grayson has the smallest of small samples right now.

In the g league he is shooting 40% from 3 and almost 50% from the field. Shooting like 9 3s a game. Extended floor time really matters for shooters. 2-3 minute stints or garbage time (a couple hours after you've warmed up) it is hard to find a rhythm.

Grayson will be a good shooter... the defense is by far the biggest question imo.

Not to mention he had the lowest b ball IQ on the team.

also if we have Korver how much is AB going to play (he won't)

also, we saved enough dough in the transaction this year to buy a second rounder if we want to (we won't but we could). The acquisition price was almost nothing and the on court value will be much more than that.

People commenting on sample size are correct, but I also understand the other dude’s angle.

If Grayson wasn’t unplayable right now, his sample size wouldn’t be so minuscule. Shamet is good enough to be in the rotation at Philly.

Still have to remember it’s a very small sample size, though.

there goes dreams of bringing spencer dinwiddie to utah.
His new deal will pay him $10.6 million, $11.4 million and $12.3 million annually starting with the 2019-20 season, sources said.

3 year.....$34 million

Watching last night's game reminded me of a convo a while back on Rodney McGruder... I like him and see no way Miami can even pay him a meager salary next year. Wonder what it'd cost to get him if their season doesn't turn around. Think he could be good enough at PG to play next to DM. He's restricted FA... think he will get close to MLE money this offseason. 40% from three this year. Plus defender.

His name also sounds a lot like McGruber... which is fun.
