Rudy Gobert "Greatest Jazz Center of All Time" Countdown Thread

I have never seen a center as effective as Rudy played for the Jazz before. He already is there. Just needs to widen the scale a few seasons more.

Rudy is just phenomenal. Best C in the NBA and a borderline Top-10 player, IMO. He's an offensive star now it's incredible.

After this game tonight,we need a new countdown thread : "Rudy Gobert, Greatest Center of all Time"

Seriously though, if there was a chart that shows talent/performance index of players historically, I'm sure Gobert would play to the tops.

It's just the beginning guys. Rudy will be the greatest nba center for the next years. If he keeps growning in offense and win finals... yes he will be an hall of famer.

The thing that endears me to Rudy so much is the difference between this year and last year when it comes to catching the ball in the low post. Last year he was butterfingers. This year, he's almond joy!

35 points in a game, how many of us would have imagined that? Mark Eaton's career high was 20 and that was while playing with John Stockton

Imagine Rudy on the jazz nba finals teams...oh that would have been sweet

By the RPM metric, Rudy is now 6th best player in the NBA (above Curry, Harden, Leonard, Westbrook, and Davis). Now I need to see this for 2 straight years before I'll say he's the 6th best player, but its encouraging!

Never. I definitely did not. This adds to the concept of being patient with players. Patience has always been key...especially for fans that want to have peace of mind.

I also want to say that I knew Rudy was going to be better than average because he's kind of an ******* on the court. He plays with a huge chip on his shoulder and most better than average players have that attitude.
