I am surpised he didnt get drafted. I guess foreign players were not of interest as much back then. 7' tall people seemed in high demand back then. Although he was probably rail thin like Gobert is now, which was poorly looked at then.

if I recall right from the nba draft they said his dad played for Marist which would of been around same time one of my favorite old school 90s center Rik Smits played. Must of had the twin towers going down. Anyone remember back then? I was fairly young so I cant recall.

Hows Fort Collins treating you. I just got back last week from there. Its gotten a lot better since I was there last. Although I was surprised that it was even more white washed than SLC and maybe has weirder liquor laws. They do have a couple of great breweries though.
