Sorry but idgaf what someone on the radio said. He shoots free throws, jumpers, goes up for dunks with, and blocks with, his right hand.

Because he writes with his left means jack ****. Dude is right-handed on the basketball court.

I have seen him dunk multiple times with his left. Here is some finest example.

Would be interesting to see stats on that. Most good shot blockers block equally well with both hands and chose it instinctively based on angles and situations. Certainly seen Rudy block with left as well. In this compilation for example 42 blks with right and 23 with left.

Lol you thought wes meant that he literally only ever dunks or blocks with his right hand?

Of course he uses both, almost every player ever does, he is saying he dunks and blocks with his right hand way more. I agree. As do your stats from watching his highlight video.

I could watch it all day. Oh I how love Rudy. The motor on this guy is unbelievable. He is special.


The hook shot was Gleague level. Chasing down two blocks is hall of fame level.

tbh don't think i'd me much thrilled about rudy getting a hook shot out of situations where he'd get trapped to do it - and would spend more time training to avoid these traps than a baby hook

but that midrange shot he made, how much video of it we have ?

It wouldn’t work against Rudy, but he is Rudy, so it’s ok.

Eric Woodyard told Locke that Rudy's been working with a shooting coach this summer. Maybe that's kind of regular stuff for him, but it seems to me he might be trying to expand his game a bit. (Maybe he wants to be a bit more offensively versatile, mostly because he would get 2 great looks a game from 15 feet or so. And if he makes these, defenses have to take note.)
