not credible at all. Sometimes it seems like he’s throwing darts and hope something hits. He gets a lot wrong.
Lol, not a chance in hell he is pulling this out of his ***.

Someone definitely told him this, like Beer said the credibility of the source is potentially questionable.
If Rudy is a diva he's the diet version of one.
The media is just trying to throw boiled spaghetti at the wall to see if it sticks.
Why wouldn't the Jazz super max Rudy? What's a better option?
I mean he's been a reporter for a long time. I don't think he has some motivation to put that out there for no reason. It's kinda been known for weeks this wasn't all about the virus. All I know is hes not the most credible.
I'm sure Tony's info is coming from someone close to the organization. Someone close to the organization is not going to say that they are going to for sure, or have to trade Rudy. In fact saying you aren't going to trade either is the smart way to try and help their trade value. Both things can be true. Tony's reporting can be 100% accurate in what his source is saying and the Jazz could also have been growing tired of Rudy's behavior this year. This was basically said by Bill on ESPN 700 a couple weeks ago when he mentioned it was much more about Rudy being a diva in the organization than it was about Donovan. Both Tony Jones and Aldridge work for the athletic, and offer differing stories. Hmmm...

Why wouldn't we?Why would we super max Rudy? Please tell me you’re joking.
Because its 35% of your cap space for a center that isn't very offensively gifted. Why wouldn't we?
Let's hear why you should be gm.
If faced with trading a top 15 player in the league for scraps or overpaying I'll overpay.Because its 35% of your cap space for a center that isn't very offensively gifted.

What you can get for him is certainly a factor here. He can't like these reports currently leaking and how things have went though and I think theres a real possibility he walks away for nothing next summer so its a risk consideration too.If faced with trading a top 15 player in the league for scraps or overpaying I'll overpay.
The team will be operating over the cap so his salary won't handicap the team that much.
Besides Gobert is the best defensive player in the NBA and am absolute game changer on that end of the court. On offense he is limited but he does still provide a lot. He helps a ton with spacing but sucking in lots of players on the roll. He frees up players a lot on screens and gets extra possessions. There's a reason his offensive rating is so high.
Lol
Ok, so who would you sign then?
In this situation I agree. But beyond this, Donovan has been solid the entire time. I think Donovan and everyone else was probably getting pretty annoyed with much of Rudys behavior. As I've mentioned a few times, you'd always hear Donovan compliment Rudy. You would rarely hear Rudy compliment Donovan in the same manner.
Not really, I think that has been the case.Do you think you are a bit biased ?
If the Jazz think he is leaving then you trade him but that wasn't what was being discussed. That's a different scenario. What you can get for him is certainly a factor here.
