Right now IMO are all better 4's than Favors.

Favors and Gobert front court is better than a Millsap and Gobert one. And by a mile. On offense is about even, but on defense it's no contest. Favors along side Gobert is the future.

I think talent for talent yes. However I think the spacing Millsap creates might make him a better fit.

I think Favor is a much better mid range jump shooter and that is very important to spacing. Just as much as a 3 point shooting when you have 3 guys in your pg, sg and sf who are spacing around the three point circle. I also think Favors can move that good mid range shot to 3 if the Jazz need him to.

I wouldn't make a strong case for Dirk at this stage or Love who I think has been over rated. However Ibaka IMO is better than Favors at everything beside post defense and that's close.

Thats fine, I think its close. I think their Defense is = but different. I think Ibaka is better at shooting right now but I think Favors is better at everything else offensively. He is a better slasher, finisher at the rim, pick and roll player, post player and a much better first step to get around a defender.

Did you see my graphics on Millsap vs Favors on outside shooting? Favors is actually much closer offensively than you might think. Initially I thought Sap was a much better O player as well. I don't think Millsap is as good a 2 way player as Favors, although his defense is adequate and nowhere near as bad as some have made it out to be over the years.

I think this pick stomps the Millsap speculation.

I just reported what a credible source — one who's given me good info on many previous occasions — told me. There were no guarantees it would happen. I didn't report that it was set in stone.
