The guy is a phenomenal athlete, but I think he is also the reason OKC is losing to Memphis. He is SOOOO selfish, and it takes Durant out of the game. This has been his problem since day one with OKC. Brooks somehow has to tell him to try to find a balance between taking over and getting other guys involved. He's supposed to a PG not Michael Jordan, and the thing is there is another player on the team who is a better option.
 
problem is he isn't a PG. he is undersized SG disguised as PG. i never once considered westbrook as a pg.

PGs direct traffic.
PGs are patient.
PGs creates shot opportunities for others.
PGs makes others better.

westbrook ain't a PG.
 
Yeah OKC does not have very efficient half-court team. Hard to win in playoffs without that.

Westbrook is very inefficient half-court playmaker. Durant is much better, but I think many overrate his half-court playmaking ability. They are still relatively young guys.
 
They both deserve criticism. But they're still great.

Even though Westbrook probably does need to learn to get others involved better and such, he doesn't exactly have a ton of great scorers around him. Who's the third option on that team? Ibaka? Yikes.

As far as KD goes, I'll never understand why he comes back each summer without a post game. If they lose in the 1st round, maybe that'll be enough to convince him to add that dimension to his game. But hey, if he never does, that's good for the Jazz, so idgaf.

Well Durant can't do everything. If I were Sam Presti I would do this:

- Perkins is the only deadweight I see in that team. Trade Him.

- Trade Westbrook - too selfish, injury prone, etc.

- Start Jackson at the Point

- Get a legit Low Post scorer
