No. I think he's going to play twice as hard in OKC. He has 28 games to show he's worth a max contract. OKC got a highly motivated player who likely gives them the same kind of effort next season playing for a qualifying offer. Perfect rental for OKC as they try to win a championship. Completely different situation in Utah. No reason to "rent" Kanter for 1 1 /2 years and then see him leave as an UFA.
