It's just youth and inexperience. But he's going to need to sit and watch for a little while based on what I saw.
 
Kanter needs to practice jumpshots from the free throw line to the top of the key, he'll never jump over people in the post.
 
The young bigs look...young. And big. Favors had a few nice moments, but that's like every game he's played for us. Kanter is not ready. Evans looked better than both of them.
 
Kanter hasn't played since he was a senior in high school. I agree with everyone. He looked like less than a 3 pick, but will prove himself .. just needs a year/year and a half, imo.

He looks so different right now than he did a year ago. He was the most confident player on the court and thought he could dominate anyone. Now, deer in the headlights .. just needs to get some swagger back.

He didn't look THAT bad at Eurobasket; to me, thats pretty much all that is keeping me optimistic. I managed to catch the last 5 minutes when I went my friends house and used his comp, and Kanter looked.......dreadful.
 
I'm really wondering about whether some of Jazz fans here not missing any chance/second to bash a rookie have ever watched any scrimmage in their lives, or know the meaning of the term "rookie" in basketball. You could see Enes breaking up some of the plays, and that's normal. Calm down guys. :)

I'm really impressed with CJ, Gordon and Raja. Every player looked in shape.
 
Raja is the official @55 of the jazz the way he was working Keith Mcloud. I miss Ronnie Price he would have dominated all of the other 3rd pg that were on the court tonight even Watson really did nothing.
 
You guys are putting way too much in this scrimmage.

Kanter looked lost but not as bad as you guys are making it. He looks like a bull in the post, defended well and rebounded well. I think we have ourselves another Carlos Boozer, but more effect on defense and bigger
 
Thoughts:

-Kanter and Favors really went at it. I think they both ended up with about the same points but it was clear Favors got the better of Kanter. Not sure if that's a knock on Enes or a testament to how good of defender Derrick is.
-Miles easily the best player, looked like an all star
-Bell still can hit the three, we'll need that
