share your current thoughts about whether Taylor Hendricks is an NBA player

I was always on the wait and see. The kind of accident he had can mess with your head.

He needs to get back and prove to his head his legs can take it. This, for some people, could be a season long exercise.

I am still patient he will figure it out. His play of laye has been promising.

His December splits as a whole are encouraging. I need to see a whole lot more before I say "yeah, he's a keeper" here but it's nice to see some flashes.

Good reminder about early-career judgment on dudes who are drafted at 18-19.

It's nice to see that he can be a positive on offense, but the defense has been tragically bad. He can't stay in front of anyone. He can't close out on shooters, even big men shooters, and he cant block shots anymore. He also cant really rebound.
Yeah his rebounding has always been a bit of a disappointment from what I thought he'd be on the draft.

His defense last season, including preseason it's still a very limited amount of games, but looked better than this season so far. But my eyes tell me he's making the effort and trying to do the right thing, most of the time.

Last night my eyes told me KLove was the biggest issue on defense.

Well yeah, Love is awful on defense.

I'm gonna be consistent with my policy about not bad talking non NBA jazzmen.
As long as they're on a Jazz uni I'll root for them to succeed and sustain they've got what it takes to do it.
